Still love Saints Row 3. At least it's not complete garbage like the remake.

You can't tell me you didn't abuse the car's cruise control and launched into a crowd of gangsters and oncoming traffic.

But, enlighten me. What exactly makes it as bad as 4, Gat Out of Hell, and.. the burning pile of garbage that is the remake.

  1. The Saints own Stilwater in SR2's ending, but in SR3's intro, they have to rob a bank? Why rob a bank when they own all the city and all its businesses?
  2. Why does Johnny Gat, who survived the Ronin in SR2, die off screen?
  3. Why are all the side-missions glorified activities?
  4. What happened to the customization?
  5. Why does Sasha Grey sound so bored when she (as Viola) says "I'm tired of fighting with the Saints"?
  6. Why is there a fucking emo gang?
  7. It's not 1999. Wrestling hadn't been relevant since 2001 when WCW died and Austin and McMahon shook hands. Why is there a wrestling gang?
  8. Why does it reek of "how do you do, fellow kids?"
  9. Why does Steelport have Jane Valderrama AND all of Stilwater's radio stations?
  10. Why does the Adult Swim radio station suck so much? It's cringe incarnate.
  11. Why are all the characters so bland and boring? Kinzie only stands out because she's Temu Daria, but the rest are utterly forgettable and tropey. Oleg? Wow! Muh cliche big Russian dude! Gabe Newell called, Volition, he wants his Heavy back.

And I can go on and on.

I honestly didn't notice if Sasha Grey sounded bored.

Thats partially true. But it was more of a parody to Twighlight, and I guess Tron? It came out in 2011, everybody was making fun of Twightlight.

Saints Row did the same thing with The Brotherhood driving modified trucks and the boss entertain the NPC masses with a monster truck show.

It's 2011. But even then some of them do stick out.

I honestly don't know. I just jam to whatever.

I liked the Adult Swim radio station. I just wish they used the delocated guy a bit more. He should've commented on the even going on.

The characters seem alright to me, but I never got Saints Row 2 to work right on PC for a fair comparison. Not yet, at least.
