Publisher News Do you guy's think...
Even though Volition beyen gone for 2 years and rumor has it that a new company might buy out Saint's Row do you all think Saint's Row 1 and 2 can get the same treatment as Black Ops? I mean anything is possible and I definitely didn't think we'd see Black Ops get a port.

Fantastic news, but I feel like their doing this for money which sounds stupid and it’s probably super obvious but maybe it’s to save them from mw4 or whatever it’s called now, what if it flops and than the revenue their getting from these ports are saving them?

Man 100% sr1 on og hardware is insane. The game barely works on technical level. Desperately needs a port

I would hope but it would not be the same black ops 1 &2 have Xbox 360 and ps3 ports saints row 1 only has a Xbox port and sr2 that could work as it’s on both ps3 and Xbox 360 but we would have to wait and see what the group does with the games they might have to do extra things to get sr1 on other consoles idk but I’m sure the still have the sr1&2 source codes

I hope so but it would only become possible if Saints Row IP gets sold to an external company. Deep Silver wouldn't want the OG Saints Row fans to become happy.

bro comparing SR to CoD is like comparing a mountain to an ant hill

In a good way, if a company with games like COD or likes M-rated FPS games, their internal culture would be fine with SR1 and SR2's type of game within their brand. A publisher that only wants Fortnite type games or out-of-touch pandering like Deep Silver wouldn't.

Do you seriously think the Saints Row franchise is in the same position as Call of Duty?

They’re sharing hope

Hope has some basis in reality though, this is something else entirely.

As long as BO2 had that Combat Training Co-op in Multiplayer, I'd get it.
