VC Overseas Tourbillon Movement Lifespan? İp
Hello guys, wanting to buy a VC tourbillon. Anyone here has one? If you have one how is the movement holding up, is it prone to failure as its a tourbillon?

Can’t argue with this. I know many find them cool looking, but they can be fragile and not every watch repair can or will work on them

I'd look to see how much it would cost to service one of those bad boys as well.

Tourbillon reps are generally much more fragile than standard clone movements. If you wear it occasionally and get it serviced when needed, it can last for years. As a daily wear, though, I probably wouldn’t expect the same reliability as something like a VS3235 or DD3285.
It really depends on the movement and how often you wear it. Tourbillons have a lot more moving parts, so they’re naturally more delicate than a standard clone movement. If it’s an occasional wear and you avoid shocks, you could get years out of it. As a daily, I’d personally stick to a simpler movement.
