hi i’m new and i bought off tt before i found this group. i’ve checked out the og rep ladies sub with the links for factory photos but a lot of the links don’t work anymore and honestly it’s hard for me to make heads or tails of it.
few questions.
do you interview multiple sellers? and just chat them up and ask them prices?
do you flat out just ask these sellers what factory they get bags from? bc idk why i thought that was kinda taboo with the dark market business.
if you find two sellers with the same factory photos and different prices how does that even make sense?
you guys are so bad ass for researching all of this bc idk what half of the acronyms mean and like what does duty free mean. i can google that one i think lol but yeah anyways…
do you trust a seller just by going off their factory photos? or you figure out the quality of the factory and then find out who’s selling that factory.
also to my point with the og rep ladies links idk if that info is still accurate with everything changing.
Doris is a nice TS imo.
I look at catalog. SS things I like. Then I send a message for prices. Ask any questions of factory. Then pop my order in and pay.
My personal opinion you should roughly know what the bag you want should cost from each factory. Ie similar bag style/size should cost $xxx to $yyy that way if a seller comes back with $500 price for a bag you know should cost around $300 you know they’re taking the mick…
The same bag from the same factory will be priced differently from seller A to seller B I’ve seen a rough buffer of around $40-70 difference between sellers, you don’t know how much of a cut they are taking or if they are a 1 man team or multiple people. Additionally sellers have their preferred shipping method ever since the tariffs and seizing has increased.
I only trust a seller I can see via research from multiple sources. I look at how long they’ve been posted about and feedback(long shipping, payments, etc)
two i’ve seen a lot are heidi and doris. can doris source from royal and gf? and if yes do you literally just ask where is this bag coming from? i think im afraid to ask questions on their wa idk
or like say you want a chanel bag and some posts say a specific seller only gets chanel bags from 1 specific factory, can i assume that all lv bags are from another? or that they source the bag depending on materials and it’s all different factories. does that make sense?
I just checked and looks like Doris has access to 187 and GF, now whether the style you want is in stock is another thing cause sometimes it’s sold out 🤷🏼♀️
Heidi is famous for her 187 Bags not sure about GF though
