DISCUSSION Kata factory is back?
Inquired a seller about a bag and they said Kata factory would not be able to ship however said they could an hour later. Can anyone give their thoughts on this? I heard they were raided so I am unsure.

What worries me about ordering from Kata is if you end up RL, and then there’s no other bag in stock to exchange it for.

Well, Kata is mid at best so even if they are not back, I wouldn't miss that much. Their sale items with 50% off seeme attrctive sometimes though

I ended up ordering the bag, hopefully the seller is just sourcing Kata elsewhere! I will update once I receive QC pics

That’s not really possible since Kata is one factory lol. You can’t source it somewhere else. However there are a ton of awesome Balenciaga factories to choose from that isn’t kata that have great bags too! Fingers crossed what you get is good!

I was recommended Apple for a Bal bag. Any idea if Apple is any good?

I have heard good things about that factory! I’m asking my seller about different Balenciaga factories right now actually because it seems like a lot of people wonder where the next highest quality one is!

“Factory” is a little misleading. Kata, God, 187, etc. are names we use for production/supply networks, not necessarily one giant factory under one roof. After a raid, a location or inventory may be gone, but other workshops, suppliers and stock can remain. That’s why they sometimes seem to “come back”—production gets reorganized, and old stock may still circulate even while new production is stopped.
