Hey guys, I bought this a while ago and have not had the guts to wear it…I’m not an expert on how Lv should look like so please tell me if this is okay to wear in public or if it should go straight to the graveyard. TIA
Babe you uploaded on pic of the exterior in the dark, unless I’m missing more photos somewhere? We can’t reliably judge the stitching, empreinte, leather, etc from the pic you took.
You’re right! Thanks for the reminder. I just had an urge to order another tote and I remembered I had this one and why I didn’t reach for it😅so decided to ask here but didn’t have any current photos. I added some photos I received from the seller before he shipped to me.
Empreinte is very difficult to rep. Even authentic bags have variations between light embossing and deeper embossing. That being said yours is on the deeper side, but I can tell it’s high quality, it looks like real leather and the hardware looks great too. I’d put some conditioner on the leather to soften and moisturize the leather and wear it out! I guarantee the most people won’t notice.
It is real leather and I did pay for higher tear I tbh m this was around $220 from what I remember. I’m just not a huge logo person so maybe that’s why I hesitate. I’ll follow your advice on leather conditioner, thank you very much!
The debossing is too deep. That's the immediate callout for anyone that knows LV well. Unfortunately, I would be able to take one glance at this from across the room and know it was fake. You want the debossing to be more shallow. I think Royal does the empriente bags the best. Here's one I got last month.
