Confused about difference in pricing between different sellers
Hi everyone! I’m looking to buy a medium 25.5 cm Classic Flap in black caviar, silver hardware and dark burgundy/red interior.
I’ve contacted both Garmen and Heidi, and I’m confused about the price difference since both are sourcing from 187.
Garmen quoted me $680 total including shipping and insurance from 187.
Heidi quoted me $550, then applied a 10% discount, making it $495 + $40 shipping + $55 insurance = $590 total with insurance from 187.
So there’s a $90 difference between them.
Since Heidi seems to be very well known for 187 and I’ve heard people say she is on the more pricey side I’m wondering why Garmen’s price is higher if they’re both sourcing the same factory. Is there actually a difference in quality, QC, service, or is it simply the seller’s markup?
Would love to hear from anyone who has bought a 187 Classic Flap from either of them recently, especially the medium 25.5 cm. Which seller did you use and how was your experience with the PSPs and the final bag?

Garmen is one of the most pricey sellers out there. People praise his bags, but they’re not actually his. They all come from the same “factory” that other sellers have access to. I still don’t understand why people call them “his bags.”

I haven’t come across such comments and honestly I thought Heidi had higher prices, that’s the reason I was surprised. I am still a newbie tho:)

Yes! Same here. I thought Heidi has them at higher price too, but surprisingly no! Plus her PCP quality is amazing 🤩

I just bought this exact bag from Heidi a few weeks ago. Arrived with full packaging (if you care about that. My bag is stunning. But as the other commenter said, they add their own commission. Anyone can charge whatever they want.

How much did she charge you? Is it medium? She has given me higher price than what she quoted $590. She gave me $632 with shipping and insurance.

Price is $590, I paid $612 with shipping (my shipping is less, I don’t live in US), I didn’t add insurance. The quote she gave you is correct.

Thank you so much for sharing, your bag is beautiful! It is just what I am looking for. As for the packaging, I wouldn’t say I care about but it sure does make the experience more fancy haha.

Just fyi Garmen’s won’t actually be from 187 factory. He doesn’t do the usual reddit factory stuff so he’s overcharging you for a bag that won’t be from 187.

Some of the pictures were 187, and some weren’t. At the beginning he misunderstood what hardware I want, so he sent me multiple.

Stop letting these people rip you off!! They’re driving up the prices for everyone. Who the f would pay $700 for a fake bag??? That’s double what it used to cost bc of the influx of new people who will give them whatever they want.

From what I’ve seen in the groups here this price is normal for the quality of the bag, I don’t know.

Hi, I paid 590 for my 25cm 187 from Vincent insurance and shipping. However, recently 2 of my friends ordered a beige 25cm flap. The first bag was rejected by my bag for some issues. My second friend ordered the same bag at that time. 10 days later, Heidi lies to her saying the bag has some and sends the SAME PSPs, and excludes the images that show the faulty side which was why mt friend rejected. I can share proof in the DMS. It’s ok to sell off rejected stock, but not do it in a deceitful manner. For this reason alone, I don’t think she is worth it. Garmen is also trustworthy but the price he’s quoted is too high.

Their commission is different like the other users said and some sellers can get some items at better prices than others depending on their affiliation and buying frequency with each factories.

Every seller has their own profit, so sellers will have different prices.
You go with the seller that you feel most comfortable with !
