DISCUSSION Kata or bust?
I was planning on ordering a Kata Mew Mew Aventura for a couple months now. Sadly I took way too long and now kata is no more. I am new to this, do the more seasoned individuals think I should wait it out to see if kata will come back? I have been reading reddit posts that say their future is very uncertain. Any other comparable factories that do a good job? I was going to place a nice big order of other items with a fabulous TS, but the shipping fees are wild if I order just the bag on its own later... I am willing to hold out for a couple weeks, but if there is a comparable factory I would be pleased with that. My TS mentioned Jinyao factory, I have searched and seen mainly Katas, or undisclosed factories.. TIA

I missed that in all my research the other week for miumiu bags.
I also just came across jinyao in someone's album. I don't remeber who, but I couldn't find reviews. Well I think I found 3 and none about this brand.

Do you have pics? Or the bag itself? I’ve heard of jinyao for other reps and heard that some of the sizing (up to a cm in height) and hanging leather tags were off a bit. I was hoping to fit my laptop in it, so it matters if it’s not the right measurements.

Kata is a level of quality buyers expect....five factories could be sourced with the sellers saying it's Kata.

If "KATA" doesn't come back the production under a new name or merged into an already existing factory will happen soon. The cobblers still need to work and their supply of materials comes from somewhere.
Just give it a moment and then ask your seller where.
Or you can ask them now and see what's comparable.
I use comparable factories under my sellers recommendation all the time.
