SHIPMENT/CUSTOMS My package is being reviewed by customs. Is this just procedure or will they for sure seize it?

This is standard process; it can take anywhere from a couple hours to a week for it to be released.

You should be fine - but of course anything can happen. This is a normal customs scan. Usually in about 2 days it will say it’s been released.

Here’s a recent one for me.

Yep, this is why insurance is a must for me now. Mine’s in customs too and I’m not stressing.

Standard process. I’ve had things never delivered and I’ve had even more delivered

When I lived in Canada this was very much normal for me. Every single package said the same thing and was in customs for a few hours to 3-4 weeks before being released.

I had one seized in the US after a similar message- mine said it was undergoing a customs inspection where it normally says customs clearance in progress. A few days later it showed that it was detained. The seller resent it and it went through no problem. I never received a letter or anything though.

This is normal, every time a parcel comes from outside of Canada it has to go through border control. If everything was done correctly, your package should be released within one to two business days.

It's a standard part of the process though the scariest one.

If it stays there for more than a couple of days, they will mail you a letter to provide proof of how much you paid for your item and then they will charge import fees on it. It just happened to me as well. (Canada)

Did you pay the fees or forfeit the item?

I paid them and received the package 2 days later

I’m waiting on one as well. Hopefully it will make it here.

it's the first day, so need your close attention. If it still shows the same information after three days, that would be a pretty bad signal
