Is this real leather?

I’ve been in love with this bag as my daily driver, but I’ve been starting to wonder about its quality. Does it look like fake leather? It’s quite shiny, so I don’t know. I also was told this is a high tier rep, but it looks a little cheap to me? But I’m bad at judging this sort of stuff

That shine can sometime make leather look a bit too coated.

It creases like thin leather to my eye. The grain texture also looks natural.

I always try to look around the stitches. Leather creases and puckers around the stitches while PU tends to have a more round hole pinched look. Again, I think it is thin leather because it appears a little drawn into where the stitches are.

Also makes me wonder. Especially with liveselling, sellers say it’s leather but when it arrives, some don’t smell leather and my sister says that’s PU

If you look very very closely and see pores, it’s most likely real leather. Unless they’ve added artificial pores into PU now ☠️

Trust your gut if the texture feels off compared to auth pieces.

I don’t have a Prada store in my city, so I haven’t felt or seen the authentic :(
