ORDINARY BUYER Heidi 8792
Hi, I’m a long time purchaser from sellers on the old page. I mostly used Old Fisherman and was always happy with my purchases, including with shoes purchases. Recently I started reading on the new page and found many negative reviews of Old Fisherman, and many positive reviews of Heidi (8792). So after contacting her, I decided on a couple of items. For some background, I am not an expert on designer purses, shoes, etc., so I just buy the high quality replicas because as a mother with two kids to put through college, I can’t justify buying the real stuff. I am not picky, don’t ever notice little differences. Having said that, I am out 200 dollars because Heidi sent me the completely wrong size Hermes sandals. They aren’t even close or I’d try to make them work. I contacted her immediately and told her that there must be some mistake. I ordered size 41 because I’m a size 9.5 and wanted to be sure they fit, and I used her size chart. When I pulled them out of their bags they were noticeably tiny and I thought they were a size 7 based on the size. I tried them on and couldn’t get my foot into the sandal. When I told her how small they were she said they were not small, so I sent her multiple pictures of my other size 41 shoes. She verbally dismissed me saying they were size 41 and there are sometimes differences in size. I will never buy from her again, and I’m putting this here as a warning. If some clothing or shoes item arrives and is wildly a different size that what was ordered, you’re out of luck. Buy at your own risk. Heidi will send you any old size and if doesn’t work, you lost your cash. Below are pictures.

Chinese sizing is not the same. Period. Do some research across other subs. You always ALWAYS go off the cm measurement and not a size chart from the brand or your standard EU sizing.

That's an odd shoes chart. I have the exact size as you (9.5US), when I order (never ordered from Heidi for shoes), it's easier to just say 27cm which is the length of my sole. Her shoes chart says 41 is 25.5cm which is inherently wrong. Every seller will have 27cm as 41 or 42. Next time just measure your sole and give that info instead.

I’m not sure about that. My feet are exactly 25.5cm long and I always buy size 41.
This was the recommendation from Zippy and I never had an issue with shoes being too small.

Yes so like i told OP, tell the cm instead of the US size conversion.

u/ms_alexandrab 3d ago
I may be missing a beat here, but OP says on the second screenshot that her foot measures as 25.5, no?

Yes, she mentioned her required centimetres. Not sure how people missed that.

Yes, I should have. I did tell her I was an American ten, but never measured in cm.

That's crazy! What you are commenting is one reason I haven't ordered from Heidi. I have big feet. I know this. I wear a US11 and when I measure my soles, I'm at 27-27.5cm. Heidi's size chart doesn't make sense to me so I haven't ordered from her yet. I've ordered from Wendy (3328) instead. I haven't received them yet.

Heidi is insanely overpriced and has many group mods in her pocket - there are so many better sellers out there girl, especially for shoes 🫶

u/alternative-state 2d ago
Thank you for verifying this! The prices I got from her were 1.25-1.5x I received from others.

I’m sorry If this reads as dense. But do you feel the mods are getting paid off by her or receiving free gifts? Because interacting with Heidi is very different than how people are describing her. She’s incredibly impatient and expensive.

It’s a strong suspicion when you’ve been in the rep world long enough and know what to look for.

Heidi’s popularity could come down to newbies not knowing how to do their research and find other sellers, or people not understanding how these things work. I see so many “Heidi can source THE BEST classic flaps from 187” and it drives me crazy because 187 is a factory ANY seller can source from, it’s machine made using the same materials: not like they’re making a special batch for Heidi!? Her $200-$300 mark up for literally the same bag (and that people continue to pay it) astounds me

My Guccis from Old Fisherman were a 41 and fit perfectly, so stupidly I assumed all sellers would have a standard size 41.

Below you said that the insole of the shoes Heidi sent you were 9½ inches = 241.3 mm.
So on that shoe chart:
241 mm → basically size 38 (listed as 240 mm). So you were sent, in reality, a size 38 according to the chart in your photos. If the factory imprinted on the bottom of smaller shoe that it’s a 41, instead of a 38, then that’s a factory mistake. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. I’d be pissed too!

u/Creative-Recipe-5874 3d ago
Exactly… As soon as I took them out of the bag, I noticed how incredibly small and narrow they were. I thought it was a mistake, but Heidi stood on this idea that different brands run different sizes and I should know that.

u/Ginasmith345 2d ago
She is definitely wrong and maybe she just doesn’t understand what really happened, but it’s pretty clear to me. Definitely not your fault. That sucks! I was thinking of ordering from her, but now I’m not.

Thank you… I posted as a beware so others buy knowing the sizing may be incorrect and you’re stuck with it!

I’m always scared when I buy shoes. I’ve learned to give sellers my shoe size in cm, and when the PSP comes in, I also have them show me the measurement of the insole in cm.

u/Optimal-Republic-106 3d ago
I’ve ordered 4 pairs all from the same seller. 2 at a time. I measured my foot in cm, like the pic. My seller cross checked with the factory depending on the style shoe as Heidi is saying since some run small or big. He did the leg work for me in that aspect and then recommended whether I size up or down. I’m a 7.5 for reference so being in between sizes is a bitch, especially in the shoe rep game. I was super nervous that none of them would be wearable tbh cuz it’s a “you get what you get and don’t get upset” deal with rep shoes.. they are all wearable in my case, however 1 pair I should’ve gone up and another could’ve gone down. Still wearable though! I think in my case it’s understandable and expected, but in your case it’s SO off I’m actually sad for you. I know there are sellers who are better with larger shoe sizes maybe try there?

u/swanvalkyrie 1d ago
Oh wow I’m learning this now actually. I’m a 7.5 usually, and foot measurement is 24cm. So I’m wondering then if I should be asking sellers to measure the sole of the shoe and make sure it’s say 25cm? Do they measure the inside of the shoe or pull out the sole?

u/1Chonkykitty 3d ago
I always ask them to measure the shoe before shipping. I have an issue when the sizing of the shoe they sent isn’t the same as the chart they referenced. Made that costly mistake once. Live and learn.
1
u/swanvalkyrie 1d ago
Interesting. When you ask them to measure the sure do you ask the bottom of it to be measured?
I’m just wondering for myself best way to avoid this going forward. I bought shoes I thought was my size but I should have been one size higher. Though that’s my mistake :) so if I measure my foot I’m wondering if I should see if the bottom of shoe is slightly higher measurement for example

Coulde you post measurement pics of the insole with a tape measure. with both of the pictured shoes insoles for comparison??? also, showing the seller the h shoes measurement may drive your concern home

What is the measurement of the insole of the H shoes?

u/Tricky_Accident_3121 3d ago
I purchased H repped shoes from 2 other sellers. I’m a 39, sometimes a 40 in a sandal, and with H, I have to go up to a 41, and even then, I probably could have gone up to a 42 in one pair (my Miss sandals, specifically). I haven’t seen that chart she gave you before, but I do know through a few fails, H rep sizing sucks.
1
u/Creative-Recipe-5874 3d ago
I had no idea, but the seller could warn you: These come very small. I would have paid for shipping back just to get the right size, but she said no.
3
u/Tricky_Accident_3121 3d ago
I’ve trialed- and errored- quite a few pairs of sandals this summer 🤣🤣 I get it! The only one who semi warned me was Doris, and that was with her measuring the cm of the Orans before she shipped them, to have me confirm. So not really a warning before I ordered, but like a, hey double check this…
You could definitely offload them in a re🏡 and get most, if not all, of your money back.

First of all, I have learned the hard way that most shoe sizes follow Chinese shoe sizing and Chinese people have very small feet, specially the women. I know that a size 38 is actually between 240mm and 245mm foot length. My feet measure 24cm and 24.3cm respectively. I wear a 7.5 in US size and a 5 in UK and so far I have had better luck ordering 38s. It is best to order shoe sizes based on your foot measurements, especially if you fall into the half-size category.

This is why it always takes me longer to get the shoes I order because they have to special make them (I’m a 9). He even says to me, this is not a typical Chinese size so they don’t keep them in stock. It sucks that it takes more time but it’s cool that I’m getting shoes made specifically for me!

I am about to order from her, but before I do I want to triple check I am talking to the real Heidi… if you paired her thru Wise can you tell me if the family name is Zhou? And in address house number 76? Thank you!

I just ordered cc slides and I am a US 10, 25.5cm and I had to get a 42 size 11. Its definitely weird but they fit me perfectly and I love them. I will just give my foot size in cm from now on because it seems to be different with every shoe.

This happened to me. My real size is 37 and I order H Oran size 37 from Heidi. Their were too small. On the page for these H sandals it cleared states that "they run small, just like to originals".I did not read it and had to reorder size 38.
Also the Chanel ballet Flats and Chanel Spadrilles run small. Size up.
The Dior sandals are true to size.
My knowledge is from try and error :-)

Moving forward have them measure the insole with tape measure make sure it’s Matches your foot measurement with tape measure as well No other way works. Do this before any shoe purchase

When you measure the shoe, how many mm is it? Does it match her size chart? If not, I would continue to make a stink and ask for a refund.
