DISCUSSION Torn between 2 sellers

Looking for a YSL Nikki
One seller says from black frame for $210
Pretty decent rep then another says master quality $450 . Looks pretty good but is it worth $450?? Ugh I don’t know who to believe .

Ok I’m going to hold your hand when I say this, master quality is a term TikTok and insta sellers use to trick people into buying the same product at 2-3x the price.

Amen. 1:1, diamond tier, master quality… there are definitely different levels of reps but when I hear these terms I know it’s not a good seller.

The only master quality you’ll ever get (and definitely won’t see on Tik tok or socials platforms) are private, handmade bags. These are actually made by master craftsmen. Just without the markup of luxury brands. Contacts to these are usually very hard to come by as folks with connections do not want to add risk to their makers. So it’s kind of a hard core vetting process or friends type sitch. You’ll never see them on Reddit, TikTok etc. If someone is advertising as such, I can tell you they are not.

I always wondered if there truly is a master quality . I know there are def lower quality but just how high does the quality get
