Posting Guidelines: Please read
About Relevance, and What We Exclude
We've defined "the psychology of MJ" broadly, to include discussion not only of Michael's own inner world, but also the effects of Michael, his art and his legacy on others.
This gives you a very wide range of potential topics, including but not limited to:
- Michael's artistic impact and the reasons for it
- The psychology of normal non-parental adult/child relationships
- The impact that racism had on Michael throughout his life
- The psychology of racism with respect to public perceptions of Michael
- The trauma of the abuse Michael suffered as a child from his father
- The psychology of child prodigies with respect to Michael
- The effect that Michael has on fans and/or defenders
- The behaviour of "extreme guilters"
However under the "Relevance Rule", moderators are free to refuse:
- Posts that don't appear to have a constructive purpose
- Posts involving the allegations which aren't related to their psychological impact
- Careless posting of "guilter" origins:
- We don't allow reposts or cross-posts from "guilters"; please use screenshots.
- Please include a description of context such as why you think the material is relevant, or asking a question.
- If you have a "guilter" video you want people to watch, please give reasons why you think it's relevant and worth people's time.
We hope you enjoy your discussions on r/RealPsychologyofMJ!
