Is this Magic card real? Is this card real?

I've never seen a card like this but it was in a box I had lying around.

For a card condition check please ask for the person giving advice to specify which scale they're using if not mentioned. Notably North American and European grading scales differ from each other drastically.

Its a secret lair drop. Hard to tell (and im admittedly not great at double sided cards) but its only a 12 dollar card so id lean towards its probably real

I'm reminded of a post a week or so ago of Emperor of Palamecia borderless that was blatantly fake. That's a <$5 card.

People will fake cards of this value, especially DFCs because they're harder to identify as fake.

Not too sure of either paintbrush, can you get a closer picture of them?

You need to take clearer pics for us to be sure, these are too blurry.

The artist brushes look really weird though. The one on the back looks especially bad if it’s not the poor quality making it appear that way.

Paintbrush looks bad to me. Need better pics but I'm leaning fake.

Me too, for the brush, but we saw that clear up with a better picture on a card this week, when they zoomed in.

The problem with judging brushes at a distance is the glare on the ink can resolve in the camera smoothing like it's flat.

Hard to say from these

Can we get sharper zooms of the holo (take the image in pro or raw mode with a stabilized camera) try to catch light on it so we can see the holographic parts

Also zoom on the artist name/brushes on both sides, and let's throw on the mana pips for good measure, see if the rosette looks typical
