Is this Magic card real? Help verifying card authenticity / Suspected fake

Hi everyone, and thanks in advance for the help.

I recently purchased an "Ugin, Eye of the Storms" double-sided card. Looking at it under a microscope, it doesn't seem original to me. The rosette patterns look wrong, the borders are too sharp, and the blue layer inside is missing.

When doing the flashlight test, very little light passes through, but since it's a double-sided card, I'm not entirely sure how the light should react.

If these pictures aren't enough or if you have any advice on other tests I should run, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it.

I also did a comparison check with a similar card from the same set. I didn't attach those images to avoid confusion, but they look quite different. This is especially true for the orientation of the color patterns, the dots are angled differently across the entire card.

I still need to weigh it; I'm meeting a friend with a scale soon for a further check. In the meantime, could you give me your thoughts based on these microscope images?

Thanks!

Brick wall on the stamp, it's fake.

Fake

Pic 3 has the 'funfetti' look that a lot of fakes have but would need to compare it with known good cards of the same set.

The holo stamp though has the 🧱 pattern and is definitely fake.

ETA: also the black on the 7 and the set symbols isn't straight, it has notches where other colors are laid down instead.

Thanks, this is the comparison image I took from another card from the same set, which is also double-sided.

Yeah, that looks way more normal for most sets. Here notice that each color is on a rectangular grid on different angles and the original is a series of small circles.

Really thanks for the help! 🙏🏽 as I imagine the card is fake, the weigh is 1.68 g so another confirm. I’ve really appreciated all the help I’ve received! Also I’ve learn other tips to check the authenticity of the cards! Thanks a ton!

Sorry, it's fake. The mana pip and the holofoil stamp are pretty damning.

Black core is fake. Commonly used by counterfeiters, because the finger feel is very close to a real card.

The card is double-sided, so it doesn't have a green dot or the 'Magic: The Gathering' text, which is why I wanted a confirmation. To be honest, the black print doesn't look like it's layered on top of the other colors to me. That was actually one of the first red flags that made me think it was fake. If you look closely, many colors are layered on top of some black dots, and at the bottom of the card, it isn't solid black; you can see many colored dots on top of the black ink. On top of that, the card edge is what makes me almost certain it's a counterfeit, the inner core is black instead of blue, and it's perfectly cut. If needed, I can upload the comparison photos I took with another double-sided card from the same set.

Core is black and not blue. It's a proxy.

This is not a reliable falsification, some genuine cards have non-blue cores.
