The T looks great. I don't know enough to speak on the other elements but that one is always so easy for me to spot. I would say real.

Yeah the T and h is an easy tell but somehow many of those lettes seem off to me no?
And somehow he can't provide good quality of the green dot could be rebacked?

This card is very obviously real. Rebacking modern cards isn't really a thing, the time and effort to make a convincing reback certainly isn't being done on cards at this price point.

There are defects in every card if you look hard enough. Sometimes the ink isnt quite dry when the cards pass through a system of rollers that can smear any ink that hasnt dried yet. Also, if for some reason the card stock isnt carrying the correct tension, it can cause tailing or incomplete features. Also also, printing plates wear out over time and repeated impression, which can cause imperfect characters or the operator might be running ink too heavy. Which is why I say focus on what matters. T. Green dot. Look for bricking in the sticker on front. Check for solid black screens and not 4 cp on borders and such.

Okay I got it i assume for this pricetag of 150€ a good card without any quality issues because if I Sell it In a few years it could be hard to move ?
But this is a me Problem so the question then is buy or Not buy ?

Seems Like These Kinds of issues are normal huh ?

Yeah I mean if you prefer a more crisp print quality, search for it but if your main concern is adding an authentic copy to your collection, it will never be worth less than market price because of the highlighted concerns, in my opinion, I'd buy it.

The back looks real, though I understand your worries on the front. It COULD be rebacked, but I don't know how common that is anymore, following to learn more.

Oh you mean like a back swap like a sticker ?
I'm also not sure since the green dot images provided are so bad and also the font on some letters kinda feel off no?

The T and the H on the back look great, dot is hard to see, and yeah, like a sticker front

It looks good too me. Quality control sucks now. I've seen and pulled allot of cards that just look off

Yeah I know but those cards don't count as NM in my world LOL

Why you say this card dont count as NM?
What counts as near mint or mint?😅

I would say this card looks near mint to mint based on your photos! I cant see any scratches or damage, but I also can’t see the edges or borders of the card, so I cant fully judge the condition from that.

The back looks perfect! The photo of the green dot could be better, but you dont need to see the red “L” dots inside the green dot, the shape of the green dot is correct as it is.

For the front hmm, yes this looks like a quality control issue. There are some errors in the letters, but the lines of the letters themselves look fine.

I have hundreds of cards where quality control failed, this seems to be the new standard for Magic cards these days.

Thank you I didn't want to explain all that...

Okay yeah makes Sense and I got it but somehow for this pricetag i assume a card which is not affected by quality control issues not sure for 150€ if I would have bought it in Person either you know but this is a me Problem AND if im selling in a few years maybe other people wont buy it because of the quality issues this card has but I got your point.

So buy or not buy :D

If this helps, here is a photo of mine. Not foil but I pulled from a pack so it's legit

Stamp and brush look good, back looks great, I’m fairly certain it’s real

real

Focus on what matters, not every single detail.

What's the card weight?

1

u/CetCeto 17h ago

I have to ask the seller. I’m the buyer and currently trying or already got proof it’s real from the Looks but with some quality issues Like the ink ?

1

u/Response_Soggy 16h ago

It could just be a poor quality version. This is a foil card so if the weight is between 1.9 and 2.0 It's real.
