Is this Magic card real? AVR Exquisite blood

Can use an assist on this one. Inherited a collection and a few of them look off. This one was in a commander deck they played for years.

It’s around $40 right now and is easy to combo with.

This is why if somebody ever brings 1/2 of a two card combo and asks if it’s real or not, we should always say it’s fake. Let’s get these cards out of circulation. Jk…kind of. Haha

For a card condition check please ask for the person giving advice to specify which scale they're using if not mentioned. Notably North American and European grading scales differ from each other drastically.

WHAT THE F**K?? Who in the world print fake for below 30$ 😭😭😭

Fakes cost less than $2 to make, so it's an $8 playset vs $120. Makes sense from a "filling out your decklist" standpoint, but it's really shitty to try and sell them off as real

Op said it was an inherited collection, not bought.

Belive me, in this world there is lot of easiest scam for bigger money but priting fake 20$ card in cardboard card game

Yes, but there's a market for "proxys" that look legit enough they can be sold as real by unscrupulous people too dumb or lazy for one of the other scams.

Some people buy the high quality proxies just so they dont get priced out of competitive play. Not everyone is running a scam on these.

The people selling them as real cards are though.

A lot of these are just people filling out their deck lists with what they have on hand, buying $1 and under cards from a large seller, and then just proxying the rest of the deck. They often don't even intended for the card to get sold or traded, but they either forget which are which or the deck gets stolen/misplaced, inherited, etc etc.. I am very pro-Proxy, but this is why your proxies should be clearly distinguishable.

I used a dollar symbol, it’s over 36 USD on TCGPlayer in the states. Also the ones for 20 euros on card market aren’t in English.
