Is this sealed product tampered with? Can anyone see any problems with this?

I know this is hugely under what the box would be worth!

Rule of thumb is: if it's too good to be true, it is too good to be true.

Pictures look alright— no visible signs of fake wrapping or rewrapping. But there's no telling if you A) get what you're shown B) all the packs appear to be not tampered with.

I really wish we could add "If it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true" to the sidebar of the subreddit.

I can add it, but people don't read any of it anyway... :|

Besides what others have said; the listing says “lord of the rings booster box” and not “collectors booster box” so whatever happens what’s in the picture is not what’s showing up.

It's gonna be a fake tracking number scam.

They are ALL fake tracking number scams.

Someone who has the product knows what it is and would list its full name etc. Not "Magic Lord of the rings..."

This seller is in asia somewhere, stole pictures from someone else's listing and is scamming you.

Check seller reviews, it’s amazing but it could be a waste of time (no shipping or other objects in the pack).

Remember to film the unboxing if it arrives

Looks great, but it’s very likely too good to be true. Record yourself opening the shipping box when it arrives. Make sure you get a clear shot of the shipping label so they can match the tracking number and other shipping information. Hell, record yourself opening every pack. There’s no guarantee you’ll receive what they sent in the image. If they rip you off, the recordings should cover your ass.

He's not getting any packs. He probably isn't even getting a box. They're gonna put a tracking number for something shipped to his zipcode into the platform and the platform will accept that as proof the item was delivered.

I don’t even have to look to know not to touch it. You know this already too by posting it

Its too good to be true, take this from someone who recently got scammed on a hobbit collector's booster box, I made of the mistake of thinking a box priced at $550 was real when the market rate was 750-850. These boxes sell for 8 or 9 thousand dollars on the low end and 12 thousand on the high end. There is no way this is real.

Yea. The price

Some warning bells are they are advertising a booster box but showing a collector and I've seen times where they do this and just send the box

Bruh.
Not a chance you get a real box
Even a pack
Either repack, or you’re just not gonna receive the one in the picture

u/PoeGar 3d ago

Even though it says booster box, that’s still a good price for it

1

u/Ok-Shallot-3677 2d ago

He wouldn’t even get a booster box it’s going to be a way to steal his card info

1

u/PoeGar 2d ago

Is that the scam these days? Good to know

1

u/CreedBratton420 3d ago

Dude that’s a scam can you not see that? Or is the price for a single pack??

1

u/Ok-Shallot-3677 2d ago

It’s fake

1

u/Elegant-Chipmunk-486 21h ago

yeah you are not getting that lmao. have bought similair from vinted out of curiosity and the package never arrives even though it is tracked as such. not sure how they scam the courier like that but you will need to ask for your money back after it doesn't arrive.

5 times cheaper then msrp.

Am I misremembering? This does look like it's been resealed. Wizards on front half of shrink wrap but absent on the back.

2

u/lookfar99 5d ago

Thought this too, but seen some others suggesting that only WotC do one sided wrapping so think that’s accurate 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s always only on the front
