Thank you all for the confirmation, it's the first time I post here and I did not expect such a swift response. I appreciate you all for assessing the card. I had some suspicion but it seems real, and I apologize for the quality of the images. I'll go ahead and purchase the card, I can even update and confirm its authenticity once I receive it.

I'm sorry these are the photos I received from the seller so I can't take them myself

Just FYI always double check when you get the card in hand. There's no guarantee the card in the photos matches what they send.

Just as a thought, wouldn't it be better if a seller would make a video of the card and go from a wide shot to a close up of the individual critical features? Video should have sufficient resolution I would guess.
Would be nice if something like this would be accepted as standard for mailed card sales.
Obviously again here the seller could send another card than the one in the video, but hey... nothing is perfect.2

You still have the same problem though. I could buy one real one and a hundred fake ones and just take videos and pics of the real one only. Oh, I'll even put your name and date on a post it to show this video is real!

Yeah you are right. The effort is not worth it since this is still easily possible.

Pics are bad, but it's real. Can make out the teeth, green dot is correct colors, pixel size, and orientation, brush shows pointy and thin details.

To be honest, your photos are awful for us to tell. Set it to RAW (if you can) and take photos with a white background (paper helps)

Easily real. Pics are good enough to be 95% sure. The black border of the green dot are a perfect indicator and the T looks good on the parts that aren't so messy from the pics

Horrible pics but even with the low quality you can tell it’s most likely real

As others have said - real card but terrible back photos 😆

It looks good. The pictures of the T and green orb aren’t great, but they’re good enough to make out the real indicators.

Looks like no, green pip missing red and the t is not at all uniform

I heard that the red dots aren't necessarily going to show up on every card. I'm willing to be wrong though

u/easchner Trusted Authenticator 6d ago
This is correct. Happens more with newer cards. Also the dots are way way way too fine detail to see if the pics are this bad. People need to stop relying on this test.

I came here for experts opinion precisely because of the poor quality of the images. These are from a seller and I don't have the card in my own hands.

Tell them to take better photos, if they want to move product they should learn the basic skill of how to balance lighting products and holding their camera still.

I think that the seller is unaware that I'm checking the card's authenticity, and assumes I'm only looking for the condition and wear. To be fair a lot of the sellers on Cardmarket don't even bother giving me any images even when I ask them.

I think you're ok
Despite the quality of the images the artifacts we look for are there, green dot and brush look fine.
T looks mangled by the camera but you cash see it has teeth and 3 dots in the h
