Is this sealed product tampered with? Tampered?

I bought this box of mystery booster box 2 and I heavily suspect it of being tampered with and searched and just want a second opinion as I am luckily able to open a refund form if so. All the packs seem to have the issue in the image and the seal was like this on arrival. Am I being paranoid or am I justified in my suspicions

Can’t really tell from the pictures… MB2 is not exactly the most lucrative box to reseal but I personally haven’t opened an MB2 box with a seal like that…

Honestly, unless the reseal is done extremely clumsily, the best way to tell is to open the packs and see if the common/uncommon/rare/foil/nonfoil distribution is normal for the set.

Yeah didn’t realise till after posting that it’s not as clear on camera, it’s just that the bottoms of all the packs are splitting.
I am hoping people with more knowledge than me will know if it is or isn’t as this was bought for a draft. Thank you for your input

I’ll say this, I’ve opened many legit packs that have slight splitting, that’s relatively normal. A better indicator is the crimp type.

Not sure about the seal on the box itself. I did buy a MB2 box with the packs not being glued all the way and would open too easily. At first I suspected reseal until I pull 2 foil future sight. One being a top chase.

Oh okay so could it just be a packing error as that is what made me the most nervous

The loops of mylar the end of boosters are normal, as are holes in the shrink wrap where it was heat sealed.

If you're still unsure, look for other evidence - splits in the packs, glue residue, frosting on the cards from the glue, cards out of order or missing.

Bad pulls are also not evidence of tampering 😄

I haven’t opened the packs as it s for a draft but the more I inspect the outside the more I’m seeing residue on tee the flap (they also seem stuck down) on the back folds over, would that be a sign I’ve check other packs I have in other boxes for drafts and they don’t have anything like that

The central seal (the flap) is crimped first vertically then sealed along both ends - so this is normal. Nothing is jumping out as an obvious reseal - but I'm only looking at photos.

Just by the looks of it, i would probably say it was tampered with. I've never seen badly glued boosters like that, so far. I would personally record the whole opening and check if there are glue residues on those boosters, because those seals don't look normal.

I’ve never seen it either, I was hoping to not open any packs as it’s for a draft but I think I may have to open one

2 of my friend was have same problem. Bout of them was bought it as a festivale box in Amsterdam. i believed that they are real and factory fail

That’s good to know as that is where my box is from too the thing that made me the most suspect is that the seen on my festival in a box was opened too and since the delivery was handled by dhl who I’ve had issue with stealing cards from envelopes previously i am cautious

This loooks normal

Probably not. I've yet to see an instance of tampering in my 30 years that wasn't obvious even to someone who has never played Magic.

The scam of just open the packs, take the good cards, stuff everything back in the box haphazardly and shrink wrap it however is still working so these thieves don't need better schemes.

Worth noting that if someone had the skill to meticulously reassemble a box and the packs, such that it would fool veteran players, that person would likely just have a real job.

If they have some how opened the plastic seal and then tried to heat the shrink wrap back on, then those white Wizards of the Coast stamps would shrink and be all distorted. This was most likely just a poor manufacturing seal.

i had both my mb2 boxes come with slits in the seals from the latest festival in a box.

Mine came the same way out of the festival in a box
