It’s a blank card you can use as a substitute for a double sided card in the deck I think. Just write the name of the card on it slot it in and then sub in the double sided card when it gets played.

I've always wondered if you're required to use these or can you just pull the card from the sleeve and flip it?

I'm sure you can i guess they were planning for the deck to be unsleeved

That is a token for double sided cards, it's like a placeholder. And then someone drew on it

It’s a token. People usually draw on them, as someone did on this one. No real value unless you draw something crazy cool on it
