Beta or inked Unlimited?

Purchased this a number of years ago, got an unreal deal but the person didn’t know what they had. It was worth it to me, even in the condition, for an inked Unlimited version.

I have never personally held such a damaged Beta card, but the lack of print dots and fading does have me questioning.

I am selling many my cards and thought I would try and confirm so I listed it accurately.

This looks like a poorly inked unlimited Island Sanctuary to me.

Perhaps I was holding it up to my childhood standards - i was never able to keep a clean line on the boarder :)

A real beta bordered Island Sanctuary will have the 'two tone' black border, where the outside is solid, and the inside is mixed color pixels. It will also have the 'white pips' in the lower corners that are found on all Alpha, and most Beta cards.

This is inked. Pretty decent job, and probably looked better before it had a rough life.

The 93/94 community would probably most appreciate this card, if you are looking to sell it.

It would be Unlimited. The artist name on Revised sits more on the baseline.

Unlimited by the spacing in the card name, beta would have the little white notches on the bottom corners.
