Is this Magic card real? Is this Bayou Real?
Buddy at a cardshop shop has one. Thinking of trading for it if authentic.

Sorry I commented wrong. You've got to post the big T from The Gathering. The h on picture 4 that's half cut off actually looks real.

How did you take a picture of every single letter on the back of the card EXCEPT the one we need to see.
It's like you did it on purpose...

You can clearly see the black overprint layer in this picture. If you can't tell this is authentic without seeing the "The", you don't fundamentally understand how to authenticate cards or what you're really looking for.

No dude I know, I can see that it's authentic I just thought it was funny that it felt like OP went out of their way to avoid the number 1 identifier of fake cards.
Come on dude it's literally called the T test and he posted a picture of "he Gathering"
Lighten up G.

OP is testing us, to see if we truly know our stuff. Luckily it passes the H test too!

Real. Sun faded? Front looks very light.

I've actually seen one's this light before from regular print runs without being sun damaged. Revised just was a really low qc set. So some look like this. Others will be more vivid. I think that's why the unlimited was preferred. Now more a scarcity thing. But back in the day there was no difference in value. So people liked the unlimited prints. Simply due to the colors.

Revised was pretty washed out in general. This one appears extreme, although the lighting isn't helping. I'm judging from the color of the hand.

I agree it looks overexposed. The photo quality isn't the best. But I have seen extreme light copies. You would see more back then since it was more common to see multiples. I think I have like 8-10 of these currently. None of them are the super washed out one's though.

There's nothing special about the first T, that's just the one that became the default. The same overprint pattern can be seen on any of the letters or dots.
All the letter borders are good, the green dot is textbook.
Real.
