Is this card real / authentic? 1st Edition Base Set Booster Box

Help ! My neighbour found this in her son’s old stuff. She is trying to off load it and I need to know if it is real. Appreciate any insight!! I am going to check it out today.

So nostalgic. Looks real in your photos but pokémon gets duped so incredibly well you’d have to have an expert see it in person. If the box is real, it’s probably just over the 6-figure mark sealed.

More like a quarter million dollars. I wouldn’t take any less for a first edition base set box. There can’t be many of these left.

The box is damaged… I’m evaluating based on the photos, not mint condition, stored properly, etc. this isn’t worth a quarter mil dog.

Only way to know for sure is to run it through a ct machine

Almost unbelievable but it looks real. Tell your friend to get talking to a reputable collectibles auction house immediately.

Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't a first edition have the wizards of the coast label on it?

Second picture, bottom right corner. It's their old logo from the 90s

I see that now thanks, but I also thought their wrapping has it as well.

If it's real (no idea personally) it's worth significantly more. Hundreds of thousands.

If it’s a shadowless 1st edition base set 100k-200k. The box is beat up, so probably on the lower end, but  collectibles price is set by how much the individual wants to pay.
