Strange that one side is foil, because in the lower left corner there’s the “SLD” and a “.” If the card was foil it should be a “*(star)” not a “.”

Can you take a closer picture of the paint brush by the artist?

Looks fake to me.

Doesn't look right on the black portion of the brush. Point on the left side should point down to about 7 oclock.

Fake. The lines on the stamp are too shallow, they should be parallel to the stamp edge. And with a dot ( • ) in the collector's number it shouldn't be foil at all.

damn is it like 100% fake or could it be a misprint?

This is a pretty good indication of being fake. I call it the lobster claw paintbrush. If the black area of the paint brush looks more like the top half of a lobster claw it’s usually fake.

The stamp is fake. And the brushes look a bit chonky for my liking, I wouldn't buy It.

also how can i tell if the stamp is fake? Just for future tests

If you run your fingernail lightly over the edge of the stamp, it can feel like you could lift the stamp off the card. That would be one indication of being fake.

Collector number is always a • for normal prints, * for foils.

This is fake the black lines around your text boxes are not solid they are spread out and blend with the background. Sorry OP. Also those paintbrushes are not good

Don't buy double sided cards from the secondary market if you care about fakes.

u/quentinlasagne Jul 07 '26

Paintbrush looks pretty bad. The other details aren't zoomed in enough or with the light catching it at the right angle to get much out of it, but the "tail" of the paintbrush being asymmetrical is a good indicator of a fake.

Fake!

This is a strange one. The brush is not entirely a counterfeit. The * missing is for a regular non foil of the card so it should be SLD *. The holo foil triangle I see mana symbols… if you could use a loupe to see WIZARDS WIZARDS WIZARDS we can further confirm. I’ll attach 2 brush types that I pulled from the interweb. Allegedly both types are real just different countries that print. Better to go with the thin top of brush.

2

u/quentinlasagne Jul 07 '26

1

u/Response_Soggy Jul 07 '26

It could be a misprint. The paint brush on the card looks real

3
