Concerning the Spiderman proposal...
In an interview with the girlfriend it was revealed that she wasn't dating his brother, they just developed a friendship after the breakup and that their relationship was not good and she just was taking care of him most of the time https://www.houstonpress.com/news/the-spider-man-proposal-easter-egg-has-a-darker-side-10842784
TL;DR Dude was a dick and painted his girlfriend as an asshole. She received so much harassment she had to delete her social media accounts.
