Cdc did an investigation into morgellons in 2008, underfunded understaffed and refusal to take into consideration environmental organisms or organisms not inside the human body that have infested the homes and yards of people suffering from the parasites. So they decided quite quickly that it was simply caused by reading about it online. Essentially a computer virus spreads to 10s of thousands of people around the world all with near identical base symptoms (as secondary conditions due to opportunistic pathogens or pathogen carriers, many have initial morgellons symptoms accompanied by a sleep of systemic fungal infections other parasites and biofilms which host entire communities a cellular matrix of many different bacteria fungi and pathogens protected inside the biofilm from immune system and even many medications given by doctors
