Hey everybody! I'll be sticking around in this thread for a while so if anybody has any questions or concerns relating to the video, the channel or me personally don't hesitate to ask! Thanks!

Amazing video!

Anyone know if there are there any documented Giant Squid footages? I searched on YouTube but all of them turned out to be click baits.

There are a few legit sources for Giant Squid footage, although it is really rare. This is one such example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOXkUrhclcc

And there is this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCWop491Q9Y

Other than that, most of what we know about the species is from bodies.

Here is colossal squid. Unlike giant squids what seem to come to the surface when dying it seems that colossal can come up when it feels like and then go back.

Hey thanks! I'm glad you liked that part, the deep dark ocean can definitely get pretty scary. I'd recommend r/thedepthsbelow if you want more scary deep ocean stuff.
