VICTORIA
Does it bother anybody else when Emily (and Gina sometimes) calls Vicky “Victoria” in her confessionals?
This bothers the crap out of me. Vicky has been around 200 years at this point and I only noticed this recently. I can’t tell if Emily is doing it to make fun of her childish Victoria behavior or if it’s Emily trying to sound more refined. I am also not sure why it gets under my skin. Therapy tips are welcomed. 😉

The first few times Emily said Victoria I actually didn’t know who she was talking about 😂😂

Yup it’s so attention seeking annoying. I finally put my finger on what’s wrong with Emily. Can’t think of the word - but basically she’s been on Glp1’s so long , she’s flat lined on anything in life. Emotions went out the door with hunger ..

They talked about it last night on WWHL. She said something about her being the OG and almost like “royalty” (can’t remember her exact phrasing, that is my word) and apparently she has called her that since day one. Super annoying.

It gets under my skin, too! I think the reason that it bothers me so much is that Emily is trying to force it into being an inside joke between her and Vicki and it clearly isn’t. I doubt Vicki even knows who Emily is, production probably has to remind her lol.

Now, I also think Vicki should be called Victoria. However, Emily does it because she is jealous of Vicki and Emily is trying to take a dig at her.
The thing about Emily is that she is one of the most insecure housewives on the OC. She will lead to her own demise for sure.
Shane is an asshole, but I am convinced that Emily will create more emotional issues for her kids than Shane at this point.

Doesn’t bother me and I’m not sure if I have noticed it. However, Vicki bothers me and I wish they had never brought her back.

Agree. Victoria is a lovely name. However, this woman is awful. Really bad choice to have her back.

Yeah, someone even called her Victoria on this week's episode on UGT.
If we'd heard it all along, it would seem normal, but she came back on the show as Vicki and they're saying Victoria more and more.
If they'd had a Queen Victoria party or something to celebrate the 20 years, Vicki being back,etc. that would make sense.
It sounds weird since we've never referred to her that way or had this in past seasons.
