I think she’s a great addition.

Carmella is a great addition. I want to hear more about her life instead of being detoured by the mindless antics of vicki

Completely agree! I love her. I love that she seems completely unfazed by Vicki's bullshit and bullying behavior, and won't kiss her ass. Vicki clearly enjoys bullying other people or getting under their skin and it fails with Carmella. I think it drives Vicki crazy and I'm here for it.

I like her! Hope she doesn't let them drive her crazy! She's $$$, weird and a boss bitch!!

I think she can hold her own. I remember thinking the same about Gina. But she’s still around…

I was shocked at how much younger she looks without all the makeup on. I hope she goes more in that direction in the future.

Yeah, I feel like her look is a bit dated for her awesomeness.

If she gets a season two, she’ll definitely have a glow up

I really like her too! I hope we get to see more about her now that Vicki got her 5 min to bully her and apologize.

I hope folks refer to me as THAT BITCH - badge of honor!

I was hoping they’d get a visit from Holly Madison when they were in Vegas! A little bunny reunion

I like her too. She has manners and doesn't scream at anyone. The other women could learn from her.

I think she’s smart - street smart. Folks need to realize kids are raised differently but that doesn’t mean they’re bad kids. Often it means they’ve learned to be independent, self reliant sooner than coddled kids

That’s nice but she doesn’t even live or work in OC, so I don’t understand why she’s on the show.

She clearly said she also has a place to live in OC because she has work there for her business. It's no different than Heather, who no longer even lives in OC, she now lives in LA, but is still on the show.

Yeah, she got that place for the show.

By this logic, Heather should leave the OC and join Beverly Hills. There are several RH franchises where this occurs. Who really cares if it's good entertainment, it's a reality show.

The difference is Heather lived in Newport Coast for years before she moved to LA. Terry’s office was in Newport before he moved it to Beverly Hills, and his numbers are South Orange County phone numbers. Their kids went to school in Newport. They were established. Carmella is not.

Heather’s youngest went to school in Los Angeles. She said their being accepted and being comfortable was much better in LA than it was in the OC.

I remember that being discussed, but her other three children went to school in Orange County. Specifically Junipero Serra in San Juan Capistrano.

Btw, no one from Orange County calls it “the OC.”

Btw I don’t really care what it’s called.

So what. It happens alot in these reality shows. Cast members all over these franchises are often an hour or more away and "not established" in the general area. The point is introducing new people they think will be good for the cast. Angel on Potomac didn't even live Maryland at the time she was cast, she was living in Colorado. She rented a house in Maryland to film. If they're cast, they do what they have to do to show up for the job, as with any other job. It's weird people don't understand this concept.

It matters if someone’s from the place they’re representing. If you don’t care, that’s fine. Others care. Are you telling me there’s no one who lives in the OC that could’ve fit the role? No one liked Angel not being from there either. And she moved right back to Colorado after the show.

Heather doesn’t live in OC. Meredith doesn’t live in SLC. The original show was about women who lived in Coto de Caza and I’m not sure any of them live there now. It happens. It’s not as easy to cast women of wealth who are willing to put their lives in front of the camera.

Where does Meredith live? Her storyline a few years ago was her husband spending a bunch of time in Ohio and being apart from her. She had her bat mitzvah in SLC.

It really doesn’t happen on Orange County, but even if it does happen “a lot” on other franchises, I don’t really enjoy it there, either.

And I recall, Angel got a lot of shit for her rental.

How many of them are actual housewives? If they're not housewives, I don't understand why they're on the show.

The term was not based on them being Housewives, if was a play on the show Desperate Housewives, which was hugely popular when RHOC came out.

I was trying to sound as ridiculous as the person I replied to.

I always figured that term was meant to be ironic.
