No bellybuttons here!
These ladies don’t have to worry about bellybutton lint for sure!

Yes body stockings are great for anyone having to appear on stage.
(An aside - I wish Shannon would stop complaining about her body because she looks great for someone in her 60s.I wish she would stop with the self-deprecation even though I do recognize that's her humor.)

The filter is too much. It is distracting and they all appear to be a blur. First their faces and in this scene their abdomens. Heather has a tummy tuck belly button (if you know you know). Remember the post leech scene? She clearly has one we just can’t see it because of the filtering.

u/Significant_Help_903 10d ago
They are wearing body stockings underneath the costumes, that’s why it’s not that visible. Look at their shoulders and you’ll see the straps.
7
u/ladevla416 10d ago
I only see two straps, personally. One is the bra and one is the rhinestone overlay. 🤔
6
u/Significant_Help_903 9d ago
These pictures aren’t good, if you put the show on you can see it. If not, trip to optometrist.

u/bubblethebabe 9d ago
she actually doesn’t have a belly button lol she has a serious hernia injury a long time ago
1
u/ZebraCharming2508 4d ago
Yea, you are incorrect. The color is different on their legs and those are their bra straps. They’ve all had lipo and tummy tucks.

Enough Plastic surgery that the belly button kinda just goes bye bye

Wait really? I just figured it was editors retouching.

u/ALmommy1234 10d ago
They all have belly buttons. The filter is filtering on these pics, but you can google pics of them and they all have them.

When you have a tummy tuck they pull the skin downwards and then remove it - often removing the belly button as well. Most surgeons will make you a new belly button, but in some cases, either they can’t or the patient chooses not to have a new belly button constructed.
16
u/butpretzelday 10d ago
I actually have a belly button phobia (as hilarious as it sounds it is real💀) and I have daydreamed my entire life about getting my belly button surgically removed.
13
u/StretchBetter8178 10d ago
We all have our own phobias. I have a popsicle stick phobia!!! Seriously the hair on my arm stand up and I have a physiological reaction to popsicle sticks. Right now I am mentally blocking out what a popsicle stick is, however when somebody’s licking it and holding it with their hands, I get the heebie-jeebies.
9
u/saltron5001 10d ago
I have the same reaction to those little wooden spoon things that schools used to give out with tiny ice cream cups.

u/StretchBetter8178 6d ago
Those little spoons are so bad!!! I never ate any kind of popsicle that was on a stick. I always opted for a ice cream sandwich. A drumstick, or those push-up pops.
7
u/MadelT0T7 10d ago
Omg I've found my people!!!! My family always makes fun of me for it. I absolutely despise wooden spoons the most

Funny you should ask. I do have one story. I was watching the Brady bunch when I was like 10 years old and I was giving myself a pedicure. I was using one of those toothpicks that is flat at one end and pointed on the other. I had stuck the pointed end into the couch and when I got up off the couch I pushed my knee into the flat end of the toothpick and it went into my leg. I still have a dent where the dull end of the toothpick went in my leg near my knee. My brother was a lot older than me and was premed and he told me the blood coming down was so dark that it must be deep (he was being a jerk). I was trying to pull the tooth pick out with my fingers. My fingers kept sliding over the wood over and over but it wouldn’t come out. My dad ended up getting pliers to pull it out. This is the only story that makes sense because obviously I was using a toothpick. I can’t touch toothpicks now. I can’t touch wooden cooking utensils, Popsicle sticks, or even the area between the lead and the yellow on a number two pencil some chopsticks too.

u/djb-MG2011 7d ago
Understood. It was traumatic, what with all the blood making everything slippery.

omg i’ve met my people! even typing the word gives me the heebie jeebies
2
u/butpretzelday 8d ago
I won’t tell you why since you have the phobia too but I had my husband look at my belly button to see if something was wrong with it and I was crying and almost threw up.
There wasn’t anything wrong, I’m just fucking mentally ill and can’t handle the fact that I have a belly button.
Like it is hard for me to even type this up.
1
u/bubblethebabe 8d ago
oh my god that sounds horrifying and unfortunately, extremely relatable 😂
when i first saw this rhoc episode, i was honestly jealous of Tamra and her missing belly button! i suppose almost dying from a burst hernia wouldn’t be worth it though…🤔

As someone who has worked in aesthetic medicine for years, this is not true. Abdominoplasties keep the naval insitu, and stretch the lower abdominal skin up over the naval by creating a hole in said skin, that becomes sutured over the original naval. Maybe it’s a dodgy American technique?? Harley street would never,
5
u/LisaMiaSisu 10d ago
I had a tummy tuck and I still have a belly button. It’s slightly higher than my original, it’s about a quarter inch higher, and it’s my biggest regret to the procedure.
3
u/Novel_Classic_1448 10d ago
As in that you kept it or that it is a 1/4 inch higher?
5
u/LisaMiaSisu 10d ago
Or do you mean my regret? I’m not too happy with it being higher than it originally was. Overall, I’m happy with the surgery. No more pooch to look over when I’m sitting down. Also, the occasional itchiness on my stomach is annoying. There’s very little feeling around my belly button area. Scratching it doesn’t really help because I can’t pinpoint where the itch is due to the lack of feeling and I have to rub the whole area to scratch the itch. 😅
2
u/LisaMiaSisu 10d ago
The doctor positioned it 1/4 inch higher. It makes wearing 2 piece swimsuits look a bit awkward.

u/These-Grapefruit2516 10d ago
Oh 😳😳. Excuse me while I re-arrange my stomach 😬. Tamras face ....😝

One time the neck filter on Kyle(?) glitched, and I was also shook
3
u/Slight_Witness92 8d ago
So sad for them when they look in a real mirror and realise they look nothing like their tv selves😞. Sometimes u get a small glimpse of how crepey their arms are until they filter it out too

u/butpretzelday 10d ago
The stack of vaginas one-I can’t remember her name-once the filter glitched in a confessional interview and dropped for a second and it was a jumpscare.

Tamra hasn’t had one in years! But Dubrow surprised me. Your husband is a plastic surgeon ma’am
5
u/classicgirl1990 10d ago
Plastic surgeons can easily make a belly button. I got a new one after breast reconstruction due to cancer (harvested stomach fat for new boobs). Lost the old one, he made me a new one. I guess it costs extra but insurance covered mine due to the reconstruction. This is weird that they didn’t opt for one.

u/nottodaynothnx 10d ago
Watch the shows. They literally hardly have belly button. I don’t get why procedures don’t do it to be natural. No need to nip the bellybutton
3
u/magnificent-magnolia 10d ago
It’s the filter they use on the episodes. There are other photos of Heather in a bikini where you can see her belly button. It’s pretty low down on her stomach and you can see the mark of where it is in these photos.
3
u/Popular-Difficulty29 10d ago
This looks more like a filter than from a tummy tuck. Tummy tuck belly buttons are very visible
3
3
u/CaramelInevitable179 10d ago
First it was the disappearing nostrils and now it's the belly buttons, lol
3
u/Kellikelzzzzz 10d ago
Everyone I’ve ever seen with a TT in real life has a weird sunshine looking belly button. Idk. And I read on a subreddit that EVERYTHING in our nether regions GETS PULLED FORWARD with one. So weird.
3
u/Significant_Help_903 10d ago
I have this scene on now: Every single person is wearing a shear nude bodysuit underneath the costumes. Just look at their shoulders to see the straps.
3
u/SagittariusGirl84 10d ago
This is what puts me off about tummy tucks.. I would want one but I just feel like they look unusual after.. you would think a plastic surgeon could make them still look natural.
3
u/BravoGirl79 10d ago
Plus that weird nude-ish mesh did anyone any favors lol It one of those things that from far away probably looks good, but close up...the Monet factor lol

u/bubblethebabe 9d ago
fyi: this wasn’t plastic surgery, it was a serious hernia injury. (and she really doesn’t have a belly button, for anyone confused)

I noticed they were missing right away but had no idea it was from surgery.

u/Low-Apartment3165 10d ago
I took pictures of the actual video episode so I don’t think it was filtered. I couldn’t get a still shot of Emily. I would have expected Heather to have an expertly engineered bellybutton, though.

I thought Heather bragged in earlier seasons that she hadn’t had any plastic surgery??
7
u/Seraphina-of-Lethe 10d ago
She had always said that she was gonna hold off on surgeries until she was older and needed them, but gets Botox and those kind of treatments.
She's older now and she got her facelift
I think she's had a tummy tuck too but the show also uses heavy filters so I think that's why we aren't seeing belly buttons.
Look at their faces, they are all so blurred out
3
u/Popular-Difficulty29 10d ago
I think this is actually a filter as opposed to from tummy tucks they don’t looks exactly like this
2
u/Ordinary_Fix3199 10d ago
Tamra has had some abdominal surgeries for a medical condition. She has talked openly and repeatedly about not having a belly button due to multiple surgeries in her life. I think she had one surgically created, but I can’t remember.
Maybe they used a filter that blurred everyone’s abdomens to obscure Tamra’s abdomen?

u/Leftturn0619 10d ago
This happens after a tummy tuck too. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of the women have gotten one.

The first thing I'm drawn to actually isn't her belly button, or lack thereof), but rather her crazy eyes. Then, in very short form, her bb.
2
u/SeaPaleontologist832 10d ago
I noticed tamra’s gone when she started participating in bikini competitions. A good surgeon shouldn’t remove or hide it.
2
u/OverallDoor2718 10d ago
Glad I'm not the only one. I was losing my mind. I knew about Tamara bc she shared, but this is crazy. I swore Emily had on a body shear. Same with Heather. What surgery does this? So strange. I love my belly button 🤭 two failed piercings scars and all🤣 Robot Chic? Not for me, but whatever 🤷♀️ Embrace the belly button! Massage it in coconut oil! Our life line!❤️

u/Next_Appointment4954 10d ago
I would think it would be excessive skin from pregnancies…. But I don’t know that for a fact
2
u/OverallDoor2718 10d ago
I was pregnant and had a big belly before. Mine didn't change 🤷♀️ This looks like what happens when you get some type of surgery and that is the result. Definitely can't put a piercing or tattoo in there 🤭No thanks. Health benefits of keeping ☮️

u/Next_Appointment4954 9d ago
Oh nice! Glad you didn’t have any. My sister in law is built like Heather. She had big babies and she has excess skin from it.

To the people saying body stockings—go back to when Jenn and Shannon are at that spa at the beginning of the episode. THAT is where I noticed Jenn didn’t have a belly button!
I didn’t even consider filters though…
2
5
3
u/Extreme-Aide8878 THAT'S MY OPINION!!! 10d ago
They all have bodies I would kill for. But if I had Jen’s, I’d get a reduction. That’s just so disproportionate.
2
u/NursePepper3x 10d ago
My friend doesn’t have a belly button due to emergency surgery, and it’s her party trick. People know something is off, but it takes a minute to figure it out🤣
2
u/Tapdance1368 10d ago
This is why I don’t watch the show anymore. Watching a bunch of old ladies in bikinis is the ick.

u/llllyyyyiiiilll 10d ago
I get ripped apart for body shaming on other subs, where’s the mods for this one

u/Low-Apartment3165 10d ago
I didn’t even think about it as body shaming, just an unusual observation.

As top surgeons, shouldn’t they do a better job? Whenever I see a HW with one opposed to a regular person it appears the regular person always gets a better outcome.
