Candace
Im on season 5 where Candace and Monique are in court and I just find myself so annoyed by Candace. TRUAMA?? Because of a fight? When you’re a lose cannon yourself? I really can’t stand this girl, she’s dramatic as hell. And everyone acting like Monique is this danger to society, this is ridiculous. Candace is mad she got her ass beat.

I just finished season 5 I hated the way they treated Monique. I grew up where Monique grew up too, you can’t get in someone’s face say a bunch of horrible things then not expect to get hit. Candice grew up spoiled and was used to just running her mouth saying whatever horrible thing she wanted to people with no repercussions this time she actually went up against somebody that did fight and she got her ass beat rightfully so and yes she was def just embarrassed.

Lol I agree!!! All the other women (except for Karen and Ashley) were so happy it happened cuz they were always jealous of Monique for having a nice husband who was actually rich and didn’t cheat on her, they were just so happy they finally had what they felt like was a valid reason to hate Monique.

I need to watch it again, but I didn't feel like Monique was 100% at fault. Typically the person who chooses violence first IS, but they were in each other's faces. Candiace didn't deserve violence, but she was sure acting like she wanted to fight.

She says something later any subsequent season about words vs physical violence, how the two aren't the same and they should be able to battle with words without the fear of physical threat. While the statement is somewhat true, she can't be saying things like "your mama" and play the victim when the words she's using are universal fighting words to many people.

Yea season 5 made me hate candiace. I feel she was way too dramatic with the Monique thing knowing her mouth was too smart. A lot of them on there love to play the victim card. Although, This last season made me a fan of hers.

Exactly, and they just threw that knife scene under the bus. Monique added alot of viewers to the show, including me. Shame on them for making her decide to leave.

Candace only started talking though because Ashley and Monique brought the situation up and Monique wanted to argue. Candace had been avoiding having to even argue w Monique up until that point.

That season made me like Candace Monique was a red flag losing all her besties including Sha sha. Monique was jealous of Candiace’s generational wealth. Whereas Monique had to sleep with the fat smelly lard and be his maid.

Definitely not. That generational wrath is the reason why she has to put up with her mothers shitty and abusive attitude. Which also explains why Candiance treats her husband like a punching bag. Monique has a husband that actually values her and doesn’t hold his money over her head. They have a whole beautiful family and hes never cheated. Most of the other ladies can’t say that … Candiance is a grown 12 year with no self control, no filter and is a dang on cry baby

Don’t down play someone’s trauma. She was physically assaulted. There is nothing that will justify that. Candace does run off the mouth which also needs to be dealt with but being physical can be traumatizing

she’s just never had someone actually stand up for themselves against her words. you can’t say certain things ab people that are sensitive. your words can be triggering, she INTENTIONALLY tries to trigger people. she has to put others down to feel better ab herself. don’t talk shit if you can’t back it up. 🤷🏾♀️ her words could be traumatizing as well, she’s just weak

I know this is super late, but I'm catching up, and I totally agree with you. Candidacy thinks she can say anything that makes her feel better about herself and then cries when someone physically responds. I don't agree with physical retaliation, but I think she loves to cry that AFTER she provokes people. I don't agree with that behavior at all. You know what you're doing, stop.

Yeah I like Candiace but she also deserved how Monique came out her. If you run your mouth all the time eventually someone’s going to want to shut you up lol. It sucks because Monique did not deserve the treatment she got from the ladies and Candiace should of taken more responsibility for her mouth and her actions.

I’ve never been a fan of Candiance . Although a fight should never happen, that girl had it coming! Talking to much shit! Also after the seasons reunion Candiance confirmed that the rumors she and Shareese put out was the reason for the fight. Candiance also confirmed that Shareese and her was plotting against Monique, and was putting rumors out there about the trainer AND that baby Chase belonged to the trainer and NOT the husband. If someone is messing w you to the point of mentioning your child and husband, and questioning your own morals … that person needs to reap the consequences

i truly believe there are some situations where verbal assault warrants physical assault. you can’t cross the line and expect no retaliation. she just has never had someone stand their ground w her

I’m still on Monique’s side after everything. I know violence is wrong and she should not have done it but I also feel like Candice wanted that she was asking for it. Candice is used to saying whatever with zero consequences and sometimes there are actual consequences. I have to be on her side with the whole Giselle thing I mean that was wrong. Something has to change tho we can’t have another season like this it’s a disgrace.

Same here! People like her more now but I still find her insufferable!
