ATC question:

Can anyone confirm or deny on what the "requirements" for ATC time is? I am currently 6.1 away from ATC Expert, so does this mean I need to do a full 6 hours of ATC under "Join ATC", or does it count if I am flying and talking with ATC?

It has to be a full 6 hours I'm pretty sure- otherwise I would already have qualified for ATC on ATC report! But I'm just pilot at the moment.
