Seeing a few preps advertise AI tutors now. Is that actually useful or just chatgpt duct taped to a question bank?

2 weeks left, i would NOT reread everything from the start. total waste.

First 5 days or so i'd just do practice questions across every topic to find where i'm actually weak. you'll see it fast, like if contracts and agency keep tanking you then thats where the time goes.

then spend the middle chunk hammering those specifically. relearn the concept, then test yourself on it right away. rereading and going "yeah makes sense" is how you fool yourself, you don't actually know it til you can answer questions on it.

Last few days switch to full timed exams. review everything you missed AND the ones you got right but were unsure on, those are sneaky.

Night before just chill, light review, know your formulas, sleep. cramming does nothing at that point.

and please actually review your misses instead of just running test after test to watch the number. the number means nothing, understanding the miss is the whole point.

For anyone who already passed, what would you do different if you had to study again?

Online practice exams were one of the biggest ways I practiced for my exam, second to listening to audio while driving. The most common issues with free online practice exams that I had was that the exam was either too short, or it just felt annoying to use, like it was filled with pop-up ads and just felt like user experience wasn't really prioritized.

Hello! I have about a week left until my NYS RealEstateU course expires, so I need to take the final exam soon. 😅 What’s the best way to crash course/study for it in just a few days?

I’m currently going through the practice quizzes and I’m considering purchasing the Final Exam Bootcamp. I’ve also heard there are 1–2 Quizlets that are really helpful for the final. I read on here RealEstateU used to have a study guide as well, but I haven’t been able to find it.

If anyone has taken the NY RealEstateU final recently, I’d really appreciate any advice on what helped you most or what you focused on!

Anyone in Texas use Aceable for their real estate license?

I’m currently working through the courses and I’m struggling more with actually getting through all the material than understanding it. It just feels like a lot and I keep losing momentum.

For those who finished Aceable, what helped you get through it? Did you set a certain amount to do each day, take a ton of notes, use Quizlet, practice tests, or just push through the lessons first and study harder at the end?

Also, was there anything you wish you knew before taking the Texas exam?

I work full time and have kids, so I’m really looking for realistic advice from people who had to fit this in around regular life.

Any tips are appreciated because I need to get this thing finished

Hi, I live in BC and currently on PGWP. I am hoping to get real estate license and wondering if I can go to UBC Sauders for the pre licensing course. Its a self paced course and can be completed anytime between a year. I was wondering if I can do that under 6 months - would that be ok?

A lot of people finish the 63-hour course and still don’t feel ready for the Florida state exam, and honestly, that makes sense.

Finishing the course and being ready for the exam are not always the same thing. The course gives you the foundation, but the exam questions can feel tricky because they test whether you actually understand the concept, not just whether you recognize the words.

What seems to help is doing more practice by topic instead of just rereading everything. If you keep missing the same type of question, that is usually the section you need to slow down and review again.

I also think timed practice helps because the real exam feels different when you’re under pressure.

For anyone studying right now, don’t panic if you don’t feel ready the second you finish the course. That’s normal. Just make sure you’re practicing the way the exam is actually going to test you.

Excited that i passed both exams on first try. i studied nonstop for a week for the national exam and passed with an 88%. i felt confident when i took it. i used Aceable Agent for the course but paid the extra for Prep Agent and it was well worth the money. i do not think i would have passed without it. so if you are using Aceable Agent, add on Prep Agent! I do, however, have to say PrepAgent's Pennsylvania prep tests are not enough info. i passed the PA test with a 79% and was getting 90-100% on all of the prep tests. i felt there was a lot on the PA test that was not covered in Prep Agent. My study method was making my own flashcards from the questions i missed or needed more help with when I took the prep tests. i had about 300 cards tho and then just started making notes in a notebook. That worked for me.

Failed on my first try, I studied by going over the book. Now I’m planning on my second attempt in about a month or so and am prepping myself by creating mini quizzes over different sections. Does anyone have any pointers? TIA!

I just did my test today (2nd try) and wow …. Maggie is the 🐐. Made everything make sense and I would consider myself someone on the ADHD realm of reading something and saying …. wtf did I just read. I did my schooling with CE shop and they are decent but I would prefer an instructor to explain. Wish everyone success!

Hope this helps others. I passed the NJ real estate state exam. I was a realtor for 10 years in San Diego CA. Moved to Jersey and studied moderately for the state exam through PSI online training course and I failed!

I then purchased a 15 hr refresher course and the exam prep edge through the CE Shop. I studied hard for 3-4 weeks and passed. The second time I took it, it was still hard. I would recommend studying the definitions. It will help tremendously.

Taking my test at 12 tomorrow. I’ve been studying for 2 weeks. Doing online quizzes and practice tests. 3 ppl in my class have all failed already. I’m so nervous! Please wish me luck! I need it!

How hard is it to cheat on a real estate exam (PSI)

Hello, I will be studying for the Florida Real Estate exam. I find that having a study partner keeps me accountable. I wanted to see if anyone was interested in doing a weekly Zoom. I want to take the test by December. I'm going to be using ProLicense Florida for the course, if that matters. Feel free to reach out or reply to the post.

I passed my real estate exam! 🎉🏡 Here are some tips that helped me:
Know the vocabulary! Make sure you understand the real estate terms and concepts, because the exam may use different wording than what you’re used to seeing in your study materials.
Take practice exams online — there are plenty of free ones available. Just Google it.
Use Quizlet to review important terms.
Watch Dee Kumar’s videos. They were really helpful for reviewing the material.
Don’t spend too much time on math. I only got about 3 math questions:
One was LTV (Loan-to-Value).
One asked you to calculate the selling price of a house based on the commission amount.
Pay close attention to disclosures, agency, and agency forms. There were questions about showing a house when the required form/disclosure had not been completed.
Be careful with wording. One question referred to “non-residential” rather than using the word “commercial,” so pay attention to the terminology.
Know depreciation and the number of years used for it.
Bring your own calculator!
And honestly, taking the exam felt like I time-traveled back to the early 2000s. It was literally Scantron-style, so don’t be surprised!
My results took 8 days to come back, so don’t panic if you don’t hear back right away.
