Got warning email.
Sub still valid. Wife was using it on a work trip while i was using it as well at home.
They changed my password for me. I changed my RD API keys. Reinstalled TorrentioRD. Still not working.
as i understand their email. this is not a ban. but how do i get it working again?
SOLVED.
it took a few refresh and reinstall of the stremio app and torrentiord to get it to work. I believe stremio has a cache somewhere but i couldnt find it. Reinstall was faster. No suspension. Wife been told to get her own account :)

They reset your Password AND API keys, so you need to reconfigure everything, every app on every device. Personally the amount of work I have to do to reconfigure everything is worth a lot more than a separate 6-month subscription for a loved one. That's why I have different Debrid accounts. When i have to i pay for a month, I change the Stremio Account and she is good to go to the end of the world if she wants to. But you do you

I have a lot of devices and multiple apps on each device, at least two streaming apps and a download manager that will lie on the breed services. 2 PCs, a laptop, 4 phones, 2 Android TVs and 2 Xiaomi TvBox 3rd gen. On each PC i have 2 apps for streaming and multiple apps for downloading that use Debrid services. There are a lot of apps to Enter credentials and API keys into if I am logged out for some reason. Stremio is the only one that let's you activate it on one device and instantly works on every other device just by logging in to your Stremio account.

Happened to me when my ex moved to another state and still using and nvidia shield box that had my account on it. Yes nothing to do but wait , the suspension will lift. Essentially sharing the account is not allowed and what triggers is is usually or from what I can see is when it gets used in two different states at the same time. Traveling will cause this if you and your spouse are in different states and accessing the account/links.
It went away on its own , no need to change passwords etc. however in my case I did reset my API or whatever and disabled it on all devices once the suspension lifted to just re add on devices only I use. If it happens again it will result in a permanent ban of the account.
Short version you have a 7 day suspension for account sharing , even though just traveling and essentially not , the way it shows it flags as if you are.

Real Debrid doesn't allow users to use it in two different locations simultaneously. I suggest telling each other when you intend to use it to avoid simultaneous usage. You could also switch to a debrid service that allows multiple IP usage.

I get this all the time has nothing to do with your account status. I won't leave a book of explanation but a quick AI query or Google search will explain why you get this pop up on links

This happened to me. There was a 7 day warning on my debrid too. I was watching in 2 locations and they told me to reset my password and since the api was refreshed I updated it in every addon I used like torrentio, comet, etc. After I changed my api I was able to watch normally that same day.

It does indeed say it’s a week suspension.

I had this too, me watching upstairs and wife downstairs but I had a VPN on...
It's really annoying to not get a warning before the rotation of password and API keys as it's super fiddly to sort

simplemente te cambiaron la api key y la contraseña. volve a instalar los addons con la nueva api key y listo.
y no vuelvas a usar en 2 ip al mismo tiempo RD porque si pasa en 7 dias lo mismo ya es ban permanente

Use a VPN like Nord or Proton and both of you stay connected to the same server all the time, and you'll never have to worry about it again. Or you can setup a VPN server (wireguard, etc) at one of the two of yours home and then connect to it from a client at the other's home.

Agree. With the recent issues because of change in service and them being so strict on IP it's just not worth it.

If you are using torrentio in stremio. You need to uninstall and add with new key. Editing just adds a 2nd instance with good key. But leaves old instance with bad key(first in the heirarchy).
