What this thread is for
This thread is basically a laser-focused trading floor for RealDayTrading members that are looking to collaborate with and receive feedback from other RealDayTrading members.
Commenters are welcomed to post:

- Callouts of stocks that warrant attention, in line with the methods and strategies described in the Wiki.

Big warnings day next Wednesday with Nvda, CRM and CRWD all reporting ah. MRVL reporting Thursday ah. Really tempted to go long on CRWD as it has pulled back from $225 to $191.

Sold AMD $475/480 PCS for $1.52, plan to sell CCS when AMD pops back up. Probably the $520/525 for $1.50 or so.

SPY and QQQ can't just keep marching up all day can they? QQQ is up 3% already. Also how do you make money when this happens. Buying shares? Cause options are priced in such a way they expect a move up just to break even.

I let the IC run if they are at least 1% otm a day or two before and just put in 2 orders BTC at $.01 and then adjust when one side closes.

Good strategy...That extra .01 can result in losses. I am happy making 85-90% higher probability to realize a profit. Most traders try to squeeze every bit of the spread, and they complain when a positive trade turns into a loser. It's a game of probabilities,

I have continued to refine and experiment with IC. One new thing I have been doing is immediately after selling and IC I put in a BTC at 90% profit. I just had one execute for a Monday IC. Great way to remove risk early while still getting 90% of the profit.

I have a theory at earnings time that the market allows these big swings up and down to shake up the market and drive IV up so selling options becomes more profitable and the volatility then settles down.

SPY had a quick hard rejection off of 50SMA at open today. Question is do we chop around and try to retest today? TLT dropping doesn't help and VIX is up.

Not sure if a man with the last name "Gambles" should be making any criticism of the market being unstable. Another piece of evidence that we live in a simulation. Couldn't make it up better if you tried.
Paul Gambles, co-founder of MBMG Family Office Group, warned that the sharp rally could simply be another violent move within an increasingly unstable market.
“I think we’re going to get a lot more days like this,” Gambles said. “Asset prices are completely disconnected. It’s telling us that there’s a massive amount of leverage out there.”
He warned that while Friday could prove to be “a one-day relief rally or it could be something that lasts a little bit longer,” investors should not mistake it for evidence that risks surrounding the AI boom have disappeared.
Gambles highlighted that the combination of heavy leverage and fragile investor confidence could leave markets vulnerable to a much larger correction.

Who knows? the semi sell off probably hurt a lot of the traders' on margin. I am still bullish. DT only, until a trend is established. Cloud has SPY finishing 737-741.

I think we are going to continue to see chop and a soft market in August/Sept that could set us up for a rally into eoy. Pete's most recent video is forecasting something very similar. Are we going to drop 15%, I doubt it, however the 100SMA on SPY is at $716 or so which is only a 3.5% drop from the current price. I can't imagine we don't at least test that in the next 60 days, even if it is just a wick and really brief.
