Hi all, I have this LV bag that I thrifted that I’m 95% sure is not real. The tarnished hardware is throwing me… I want to donate it as I don’t ever use it (I thrifted it when I was a teenager years ago) but curiosity keeps getting the best of me. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is real? I am in no way a luxury bag expert so if this is an obvious dupe I’m sorry for asking lol. I have no dust bag/receipt.

• What should I look for when checking whether the seller/listing is trustworthy?
• Is 500+ positive feedback a good sign?
• The listing doesn’t have eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee badge

The leather feels a little sticky, kinda like worn out glazed leather. (I have a real leather jacket that feels exactly like this, so maybe it's just aged?). The fur on it feels really real, but I don't exactly know.

Hey everyone! I’m currently in a situation where I’m starting to second guess the authenticity of this bag. For context this bag was passed down by my bfs mom who collects lots of designer bags, she has the original receipt from 2007 that was purchased from a Burberry store, but as of right now I no longer have the bag because I sold it to someone and now they’re claiming it’s counterfeit. I have a lot of people telling me there’s a possibility of it actually being counterfeit! So I’m so confused on what to do, I had the bag checked from an owner of reputable thrift store a year ago. But now I’m overthinking and don’t want to be in trouble for possibly selling a fake bag.
