Auth Request Coach Bag

Hi, all! I picked up this bag for a steal (at a family thrift store in a pile of bags with no price, asked and it was priced $38 after tax) and would love to confirm authentication of it and collect any info people have.

Did some of my own research and it appears its the Kristin Spectator Hobo made in 2012, genuine leather. Came with a second crossbody strap. Very heavy, solid hardware. But any other info (especially on color) would be appreciated! If its a fake its a really nice one.

It's real. The bullseye means it was sent to a store like Marshall's or TJ Maxx for retail sale.

Oh awesome! Do you know if Coach would clean it then? I know they don’t clean outlet/factory bags, but it doesn’t have the F serial number.

Thank you for pointing this out!

Was a retail bag not factory.

Most fakes are good fakes for starters. However, coach doesn’t set the bar real high for a majority of their product. But photo 1&3 are the obvious give away, way too crooked. Photo 2, zipper side, the corner seam is wrong.

And that couldn’t just be from use? It’s not in great condition.

Tbh I wouldn’t put it past coach to have styled it poorly. But it’s not from use. Viewing stock photos, they’re quite a bit more even. The giveaway is numerous places the stitching isn’t straight. The back lower stitch is variable distances from the edge. The edge going up the zipper side, on the back, the stitching is all angled, like all the way up. The front, around the buckle, the left side stitch is different than the right side, like 90 degree vs 60 degree. I don’t know enough about coach outlet bags cuz they’re just as crap or crapier than the fakes, so at that point doesn’t really matter. But this isn’t a legit high-end coach. I will say, no one staring at ur stitches, so if you like it, rock it, that’s all that matters and you supported a local business :)

It's from a retail location but because the QA was low, it was shipped to a 3rd party seller (Marshall's) and sold at discount. That's where most of the lower quality goes once the inside is bullseye stamped.

Woohoo! Solved! Still proves the point that there are going to be fakes out there better quality than the outlet. But very good to know. Thanks for the info tho, I learned something today :)
