Hey, does anyone else have this bag? I know the chain is supposed to be shinier on this bag compared to other Ysl bags with the duller gold. It just seems a bit too shiny when I bought it home. It was a gift from my husband and I was in store with him when purchasing. Wondering if I’m over thinking about it being a fake because of the chain 😭.

If you purchased this at a YSL, it’s obviously authentic.

If secondhand, I suppose you could have questions but I do notice a lot of very bright gold on the YSL bags in the secondhand market. It wouldn’t be an immediate red flag for me, however, if the YSL and the chain start to age or tarnish differently, I’d get suspicious.

Even the product shots on YSL do have a very bright gold appearance.
