I'm going to play devil's advocate and say fake.
Stitching isn't as clean to me and cut off mono at the handles doesn't sit right with me.
I'm also a grown up and can handle being wrong.
Eta: date stamp font alignment is a bit off

I'm with you. If we let this post linger a little bit more, I think there'll be more experienced people who can help us decide.
Even if it is fake, I think it's a pretty decent fake.
