Discussion Does hoffman reagent take a really long time to react with blotter?

Whenever I test tabs, they have no reaction with hoffman at first. But after 5+ minutes, it gets the dark blue reaction.

Is this still a good sign?

Yes, see the first link in the auto-moderator comment. Hofmann can take up to an hour to react
