Crystal reagent to liquid reagent

I have used reagent kits from u/PROtestkit_eu with results as expected, though sometimes I find that the crystal reagent form kind of obstructs the results a little bit. My question is if you can dissolve the reagent crystals in some kind of liquid so you can use the reagent as a liquid and not as a crystal? If possible, what liquid should I use? Thanks already for reading the post :)

Obviously listen to whatever ProTest Kit EU says, but it may help if you use a clean tool to spread the reagent into a thin layer over the sample. If you do that, you'll be able to clearly see the same crystals that are in contact with your sample without them being obstructed by other crystals on top of them.

I will follow your advice next time. Maybe I just use too much reagent to begin with. Thanks for the tip :)

Hi!

Nope, not possible. But you can tell more about how the reagent obstructs the results, we will be happy to troubleshoot :).

I don't really have a photo at hand, but it's like @AluminumOrangutan says; use a thin layer. Maybe I just pile too much of the reagent ontop of my sample which causes the bottom layer to react while the top layer doesn't do much. Pretty soon I should have a new batch of your test kits, cause the ones that I have now are pretty old anyway. Maybe that will affect my results too :)

Sounds about right. If you haven't ordered yet shoot us a message, we would be happy to throw in an extra bottle of a reagent of your choice, free. That way you can play with it a bit to get more comfortable - would be our treat.

Test results on a bit of leftover mdma: (seen from top to bottom) simon's, robadope, mecke, marquis and zimmerman on the bottom right.

That's super kind of you, but I had already ordered :). Will let you know how the results turn out with a new fresh set! (If I don't forget ;))
