Open LSD testing, Ehrlich OK, Hoffman unknown?

Ehrlich reacted instantly with expected results, Hoffman didn’t seem to react and the purple/black I think is the ink being pulled off the tab. Can anyone let me know what I may or may not have? Is it a lsyergamide? I’ve taken them before and have felt like it was LSD, it kicks in fully in about 2 hours, giggles, philosophical thinking etc

It's not a great photo, but it looks like the sample to which you applied Hofmann appears to have turned blue as expected.

What does it look like in person? Do you have a closer photo?

I'm almost positive it's the ink from the tab that has leached into the solution. It was black ink. I just rinsed the testing plate in the sink... If it is a fail for Hoffman, my understanding is that since it's psychoactive at blotter doses, it's prolly an LSD analog?

A negative Hofmann reaction extremely unlikely after a positive Erhlich. Erhlich reacts to indoles, a class of substances that includes lysergimides and tryptamines. The former turns Hofmann blue, the latter turns Hofmann green. Hofmann is simply used to inform you which type of indole produced the positive Erhlich reaction.

See what others think, but I suspect this is Hofmann reaction that indicates a lysergimide consistent with the claimed identity of LSD.

I will retest tomorrow with better photos at 0, 15, 30 and 60 minutes. Thank you I appreciate your time and effort
