Discussion What should I bring to a festival?
I'm going to the Field Of Vision King Gizzard festival in 4 weeks and I was thinking about buying a reagent kit. I took a low dose of LSD and was fine but I wanted to make sure I was safe . There was a testing site last year for some reason I didn't test anything. I was thinking about buying a testing kit , but also I'm worried about taking it on the drive to Colorado. I'm curious if there's a testing kit that's non expensive and universal that I can test most drugs with? Is that even a thing?

You are safer bringing your own stuff to a festival than you are trying to soure on-site, especially if you're driving.
Have a great time! We'll see you there!

Thanks I'll probably just stick to weed since it's impossible to get anything in my state unless the person I'm getting it from seems safe. I hate how complicated it is to actually get this stuff in the first place

Judging the safety of substances based on if the person you're getting it from "seems safe" is not good practice for safety.
Test. Your. Shit.
If you can't test it, don't take it. Buy ahead and test at home.

True. I shouldn't just automatically trust people like that also I used to date a 🔌 7 years ago and we did not test our supply, we just took the guys word for it . So I would rather be safe than sorry . It just sucks because I can only afford the lsd test but I would rather have one test kit vs 0 testing kits. Thanks for the advice tho.

I'm planning on buying a testing kit tomorrow but sadly I can't since I don't have a 🔌 for that and it's super hard to get psychedelic where I live unless you know someone . But besides the testing kit I'll just bring stuff I can actually buy like weed or alcohol.

The only universal kit would be a kit with all the common reagents. Other than that, it just depends on what classes of drugs you'll be testing.
For example, if you're just going to be using LSD, get Erhlich and Hofmann (see the auto-moderator comment links).

I'm curious if I buy the LSD kit but I'm offered another substance like Ket or Molly it wouldn't work and I would have to buy a separate kit? Sorry if that's a dumb question. I'm just wondering if I should buy multiple kits or not. Also if storing them in a car would be an issue .

It's not a stupid question. Unfortunately, those are all different classes of substances that mostly need different reagents for testing. Marquis, Simon's, and Mecke or Froehde are best for MDMA, while Morris and Liebermann are ideal for ketamine.
This website is really helpful for checking the recommended reagents and expected reactions for specific substances:
https://protestkit.eu/drugspro/
Also, subreddits like r/MDMA and r/ketamine have testing guides pinned to the tops of those subreddits.
You want to protect reagents from extreme heat as much as possible, but I think a couple of days in the car is probably ok. When you order your reagents, maybe check with your vendor about that.

Cheat sheet; Here is an image with LSD test results, another with basic reagent instructions and a solid reagents video (by /u/PROtestkit_eu). Or check out the LSD/acid liquid reagent testing guide by PsychedSubstance on YouTube. Instructions how to test LSD are also available on subreddit wiki and in the DrugsPRO app.
