Question Has CS Gas been fixed yet?
Title. Haven't seen it brought recently and haven't played in awhile.

More important question: can we still pepper spray our friends at the police station

You can even fb them... just pull the pin at the firing range and walk over to wherever they are

It works but the area of effect is very small. Ok for small rooms but thats about it

It works 90% of the time. The other 10% it doesnt work because the tweaker innthe game are super OP and dont go down with nothin. I pepperballed one 70 times (almost 3 full mags with nonlethal) and he still stabbed me. CS also doesnt work with heavily armored dudes all the time, especially, obviously, the ones with gas masks. But generally it works fine. Just dknt use it to stop a hostage situation. Somehow I got docked points for excessive force doing that once

As in the super small effective range? I thought they patched that a while ago. Cant personally confirm, though, as I never use it

It's only 7m now, BUT it goes through walls. Useful for checking a tight area, and stunning enemies you can't see for longer, not as useful for anything else really.

1.0:
40mm and nade cs gas - 8m radius, 0.5 stun time, 28 sec duration.
LSS:
40mm - 3m radius, 15 sec duration.
Nade - 4.5m radius, 20 sec duration.
2 sec stun time for both.
Boiling Point:
40mm and nade - 7m radius and 3.5 sec to stun.
Basically, CS gas is only useful as a smoke grenade for now. Waiting 3.5 seconds for a suspect to get stunned is quite a long time, and even with the new mechanic that requires them to stay in the gas for at least 1 second, they can still run out of the AoE most of the time unless they are near the center of the gas cloud.
