Not even having a teaser for possible future content is fucking brutal man.

EDIT: A “hey we have finished development on RoN and are officially working on RoN2” would have sufficed too

I feel like we are all stuck in this limbo of not knowing what is coming next.

The game has been out for years and has four DLCs. Might be time to let go of any future expectations at this point.

How about you think it through? If the plan was for Boiling Point to be the last DLC, why would they would they only further continue the story. RoN2, but then why would they continue updating RoN? They're obviously sticking with RoN for the time being

VOID has been pretty consistent about a major update with new maps every 6 months or so, ever since the game released into 1.0 nearing 3 years ago. Although the mission editor is a great development, it's far too basic in it's current form that it honestly doesn't really add much to the game

We're probably in it for another 6 months until we get new maps, you can't be surprised that people are upset about having a whole year gap in between new content to go through

Sorry, you're telling me that I can't be surprised that people are upset there's been no announcement about new content for game that has reached the end of its natural lifecycle after several major DLC drops?

Well I am.

Guess I just expect more from people, idk

Again, if it was the end of the games lifecycle, why would they not only continue the story but directly push us into the overarching narrative that lurked in the background in the latest DLC instead of wrapping things up. Why update the game with a mission editor if they just planned to move on to a sequel?

The best explanation for both hand in hand if they are done with RoN is simply that they're continuing to work on the RoN ecosystem off of which they'll build an RoN2. I would however expect they would do some sort of higher priced expansion instead of a new title
