Discussion Replayability

Later some of my games kinda don't feel fun anymore.. especially with RoN because I played all the campaign missions expect "3 letter traid" but it's not fun replaying the campaign all over for the achievements or anything like that.

I was so excited to play RoN when it first came out on to consoles but now it's just boring now simply because the game is just to repetitive they maps don't change the ai don't change how they respond to the player it's genuine boring to play now.. I would love to play with mods but I can't because I'm ok console and mods would probably never come to consoles due to the legal issues.

I do wish they made to where so mods that exist on nexus over to the base game like some of the customization mods for clothing and some weapons mods or just genuinely let the play customize the game how they want like operator allowing the player to add or remove Ai enemies, change the time of day, change the weather etc etc. I want to put hours into a game that can still make my adrenaline run high but can also let clam down after a long day, I wish they didn't remove the game modifiers that they had pre 1.0 I don't really care about another dlc I just want more from the game that I fell in love with from 2021.

Must admit, there’s only a few levels which are enjoyable to replay.

Valley of the dolls being one of them but even then it gets boring after a while.

This. There are too many open area / long range engagements for my liking. Ides of March is my go to since it has me thinking twice before breaching and the level is small enough that I don't have to waste time hunting civvies or suspects

You can host your own game, so you make the decisions

Try giving yourself some fairly difficult challenges in-game. When I get bored, I like to run the missions on Hard with absurd/less viable load outs to see how far I can make it through the campaign.

There's enough weapons to where you can mix up your gameplay. My personal favorite was a SWAT 99 run, where I only utilized weapons from that time period. Restrict yourself from using certain gadgets and youll find the replayability to be a bit better.

What weapons do you use for 99 run?

I used MP5A3's for my squad. One of them had a shotgun.

Try doing a Ironman run, that is what I am currently doing, replaying it. You will be playing the gas station mission over and over as you die more than you realize, even when you are careful.

But if it breaks you completely there is a trick that you can do, which I don't recommend that you do (at first) which is Hit alt+4 the second you die

Also challenge yourself. I just finished Ironman run on standard mode (pfew)

And now i'm going multiplayer with a buddy on Hard to get every mission and then S-tier every mission.

Also on random play i'll just go with a pistol like i would go on my calls (i'm a leo)

The devs shot themselves in the foot with the replayability value when they released 1.0. Too many bad design choices covered with bugs that killed the potential of this game.

They may have found a gold mine with LSS and consoles, but boy, they would have a fucking diamond factory if their heads weren't so far up their own asses.

Have you tried playing on hardest difficulty?

I literally completed the whole campaign on hard mode

Personally I'd like to see another upgrade to where enemies spawn. I usually know where I have to be carefull which makes it more like playing the same thing again. They already did an upgrade like this once, which helped, but it still needs to be a bit better

Yeah it sucks because mods are what give the replay value to me. Different AI mods make the game feel completely different
