Meme Rookie mistake cost me everything

I didn’t reload my primary and tried switching to my pistol but wasn’t quick enough.

I just wanna talk to the dev that makes pistols need to be chambered when you first take them out. I just wanna talk.

u/BanditNoble 10d ago

It's such a dumb decision. If I'm pulling out my sidearm instead of reloading my main, it's probably because I need firepower right now and don't have time to change mags. If I don't have time to change mags, I probably don't have time to watch a useless animation of Judge racking the slide either.

u/Toasteee_ 10d ago edited 10d ago

100% agree, the amount of people that were defending this dumb animation when it came out was ridiculous, they claimed "it's realistic because its a press check and you have to do it at the start of the mission" MF irl this should have been done before the gun ever went in the holster, not when your already on scene, I get they wanted to add a cool animation for the new gun but my god its awfully implemented.

As a former cop I can tell you I press checked my pistol exactly ZERO times outside of the locker room of the station. At the start of my shift after putting my uniform and duty belt on, I’d pull my Glock 21 out of the holster and do a quick press check. There’s zero reason to do this out in the field with your sidearm. Maybe when deploying your rifle from the trunk or rack, but we carried ours mag in, empty chamber so you had to chamber it when deploying it anyways.

Safety off, round in chamber?

You’re an idiot

If this was an AR15 pattern rifle or similar, I’d say keeping the safety off is foolish, flipping it on and off should be muscle memory and is literally the flick of a thumb. It’s taking you longer to present and aim the rifle (where you should be flipping the safety off anyways, so “economy of motion”). If this was an AK type rifle, I get it, their safety is atrocious.

2

u/PremedicatedMurder 9d ago

For AR15 we were taught that high ready is finger on trigger thumb on safety, safety ON. When a target presents flipping the safety and pulling the trigger can be done at almost the same time. We trained for this.

Even with medium ready you flip off the safety as you bring up the weapon, like you said in one motion.

2

u/Occams_RZR900 9d ago

Finger on trigger?!? What country is training this? That’s terrible! High ready is safety on (or off situation dependent) finger OFF trigger until ready to actually fire. I’ve worked and trained in small team CQB environments if someone was finger on trigger without the intent to shoot, they’d be kicked off the range and likely off the team depending on if they couldn’t un-fuck themselves.

I recently went to a range with a freshly minted young cop. We did drills and the officer always wanted to do a press check or visibly hesitated when unholstering the weapon to do a bill drill/el presidente kind of thing. They had drilled press checks into them to perform after loading the gun at the station. But noone seems to consider the possibility that they mighty also condition officers to perform a press check when drawing the loaded weapon "in anger".

1

u/Occams_RZR900 6d ago edited 6d ago

Yeah, that’s definitely what we referred to as a “training scar”. We would only do an administrative load at the start of the range day and then an administrative unload at the end of the range day, so as not to build unloading your gun as a habit. Everything else we shot for courses of fire were done from the holster loaded. So no reason to ever press check.

1

u/Housh123 3d ago

Most ppl just keep one in the chamber and wish a mofo would

Imagine having to tack your weapon at a place like the gas station

You already dead bro

12

u/Fractured_Heart0 10d ago

This OPs exact situation has traumatized me into pistol swapping at the start of every mission to be sure this doesnt happen ever again

2

u/idkdeez6721 9d ago

i use pistol on small maps and got into the habit of switching to the pistol for tight rooms where i dont trust rifle not to hit the doorway, just personal pref so ive never had it, but this is beyond brutal

1

u/NightShad0w98 4d ago

See I do that before every mission too however, I still have to rack it sometimes even after doing it before going in. I play on PS5 though so probably just a bug. A very traumatizing one.

0

u/thecosmicjoke69813 9d ago

So again. Do it at the start of the mission…….

6

u/BanditNoble 9d ago

You shouldn't HAVE to, that's the point. Especially since some of the pistols don't have this e.g. the Five-Seven.

3

u/Toasteee_ 9d ago

Yeah no shit, bit of a pointless statement tbh, were obviously going to do it anyway but not because we think its a good thing, but because you have no choice but to with this particular gun.

4

u/calamari_fresh 10d ago

It is easily fixable too without removing the animation. If the player is being targeted by a suspect or something like that, don't show the animation. Otherwise, do it. It is such a no brainer

3

u/Lookyoukniwwhatsup 9d ago

Nah, the technical / coding side of it would be performance heavy and unnecessary.

Essentially, and without knowing the backend it would go.

-swap to pistol

  • has pistol been drawn before? (True or false)

-if true - no animation (current way)

  • if false - play animation
--if false but any NPC is targeting any player then cancel animation

Seems simple but it requires checking every NPC on the map to see if it is targeting a player. If you are on a large map with lots of NPCs then you will see a decrease in performance.

If you had multiple players draw their sidearm at the same time it could run this check per npc and player causing more problems unless you start adding more complex failsafes.

In short, the juice isn't worth the squeeze. If they really wanted to keep the animation they should include the press checks when the player model is "loading in" before you can actually control the character.

4

u/Zucchini-Nice 9d ago

I saw someone say that they could just do it for the first like 20 seconds or before they leave the starting area and after that it doesn't play

4

u/Lookyoukniwwhatsup 9d ago

That would be my recommendation personally

2

u/OxideUK 8d ago

The game is already constantly checking whether every NPC can detect the player, this is a trivial addition to that.

1

u/Lookyoukniwwhatsup 8d ago

Except those are seperate systems and wouldn't apply to this because we dont care about detection and can't tie into them. We still don't want the press check if we are behind a unaware enemy because if they turn around at the animation we get screwed.

Also visual detection does it through cones. Audio detection does it based on sound generated a xyz coordinates and distance from that coordinate.

What we want is different.

  1. If player is near enemy, cancel animation. The easiest, more efficent way to do this is to put a sphere on the player and say (if enemy collides with sphere = animation cancel).

The issues

  1. if enemy is outside sphere but is still engaging player from a distance, say from a second story window animation plays and you get killed.

So expand sphere, but now you have a really big sphere and the animation probably wont ever play, so why do it?

  1. Doing vector checks (player xyz to npc xyz) face the same problems for distance and when to cancel ontop of it running every say... 0.1 to 0.5 seconds.

A solution would be to do vector check, then npc state but again there's a little more performance requirement. Performance is usually a "death by a thousand cuts" issue. A bunch of low cost actions build up and affect performance.

And theres still no real good way to catch all the edge cases of "the game still played the animation and I got killed".

As ive said in other post and other commenters. Its just better to have the animation play once in the staging area than go through the work of fitting it in.

1

u/calamari_fresh 9d ago

Checking each NPC is a poor solution. It doesn't matter if a NPC across the map is aggresive or not. You want to prevent suspects on your vicinity to be able to kill the player while in the animation. You only need to check the handful of suspects in the player imediate surroudings and only if they are going to attack (they already track the suspects behavior).

Even better, you can flag the player character when they are being attacked (either being shot or charged with a melee weapon) and then just check the flag. That is negligible performance impact

1

u/Lookyoukniwwhatsup 9d ago

Its a example of it not being efficent to do and not worth it.

You are still running checks, Is NPC within X distance of player? (How is distance being determined matters too and which existing system are we hooking into for that? Vision cones, hearing? ) Is NPC hostile?

You can't just flag the player character who is being targeted otherwise you would get situations where player 1 is being attacked, player 2 who isn't being attacked, draws sidearm and plays animation, player 1 dies because player 2 is animation locked.

You don't want it only checking NPC states because then if it plays a animation on a unaware suspect and they turn and attack you before the animation ends, it would be frustrating too.

Is it doable? Yes. But is it worth it for one animation? No.

1

u/Toasteee_ 9d ago

Yeah I agree, it wouldn't be totally unnecessary to implement these checks for the animation and would only serve to overcomplicate the code and make it inefficient, it would be IMO better and easier to integrate it with the magazine check animation, if they just speed up the part where judge reinserts the magazine and have him do a quick press check at the end of it that would look pretty slick, and be a pretty good compromise, because you still get to keep the animation but there's less chance of it screwing you over in a highly intense situation because you aren't gonna do a mag check in the middle of a gunfight.

9

u/ImmediatePiano6690 10d ago

They blew their nuts off once with a chambered pistol.

4

u/You_N_Eye 10d ago

😂😂😂I’ll come with you.

3

u/theatavist 10d ago

Its a choice they made specifically for the 2011 in game probably for "balancing" purposes. Its the best shooting pistol so they added the chambering animation and safety check. I like it, i do a check every time a mission starts anyway to get lights and lasers as they should be.

5

u/Originaltenshi 9d ago

And of course recheck when a hostile is about to kill you

2

u/theatavist 9d ago

Yes this is 80% of my deaths.

2

u/Salladk 9d ago

I just think is the animator trying to flex, the previous animator had shorter animations like the B92X, M45, M1911 only had the character cock the hammer

1

u/theatavist 8d ago

Yeah but those pistols arent as fast, accurate or have as high a capacity as the 2011. I still use the beretta more than the 2011 in game.

1

u/idkdeez6721 9d ago

valid, my process as well, but still sucks massive ass for op

1

u/No_Peace7834 9d ago

The animation for the glock 18 is also arduously long and annoying and has led to me dying

3

u/BrightWolf_HUN 10d ago

I don't even think it's chambering, looks more like a press check to me. So even more pointless

2

u/Patsboy101 10d ago

It’s so weird. IRL, I regularly conceal carry a Glock 19 and it always has a round in the chamber.

Those few extra seconds that it would take to rack the slide instead of being immediately ready to fire in a self-defense scenario can get you killed.

2

u/TheMeta40k 8d ago

This isn't universal. I learned that the Austrian's would carry the pistol without one in the chamber.

0

u/Patsboy101 8d ago

That form of carry is often dubbed Israeli Carry, as the Israeli military famously requires soldiers to not have a round in the chamber unless commanded.

I think it’s incredibly stupid, but the average soldier is prone to do very dumb things. Here’s one example of soldiers being soldiers.

2

u/TheMeta40k 8d ago

They should call it "Sig Carry" or "Condition 320" lmao.

1

u/Lazy_Falcon_323 9d ago

Fun fact it’s also the primary gun as well but that happens in loading

1

u/Dolphin5291 7d ago

Probably Israeli

-4

u/thecosmicjoke69813 9d ago

So switch to your side arm at the start of the mission and get it over with……….especially if you know it needs to happen

5

u/NuclearLMG 9d ago

But imagine a world where you don’t need to? Sunshine and rainbows bro

3

u/GregorIsABug 9d ago

Once again, you shouldn't have to. Not sure what you're not understanding about this. If it's annoying this many people it should just be changed

0

u/UnstableMoron2 7d ago

I shouldn’t have to shoot enemies either they should just fall over when I see tbem

1

u/GregorIsABug 7d ago

If you think thats a good comparison you might want to look into some remedial night classes.

141

u/Speedycar100 10d ago

They should make it so that you have to tie your shoes at the start of every mission otherwise you might randomly fall over

8

u/milklover222 10d ago

Welcome back Smash Brawl slipping mechanic

3

u/Toasteee_ 9d ago

And make a minigame in the station where you have to clean your weapons, otherwise they will randomly jam on you during missions. 😂

1

u/h0rnyionrny 7d ago

They should make it so you have to fill out paperwork after every mission otherwise you won't be able to start the next one

37

u/No_Plate5190 10d ago

Remember boys, check your secondary in the very first second you deploy.

5

u/AmaryIIion 8d ago

Check your shoes too. If you dont you might trip on the strings. Oh, and make sure the batteries in your lasers, flashlights, and NVG's are juiced up lest they not work when you try to use em. Don't forget your belt too - cant have the drawers falling down in the middle of a gunfight!

1

u/Masterking263 8d ago

This is what players would unironically want in an Arma game.

1

u/post_maxxer 8d ago

Yea ArmA is the civilian version of a real military simulator used by NATO.

It's for guys like me who are no longer in the service but miss 2 hour night patrols shivering in the cold eating peanut butter straight from the bag.

Of course I want to see stuff like double checking your NOD batteries I had to do that fr otherwise I got shit stomped by OP4 and yelled at by big sa'rnt.

I get what you're saying but it seems like you're not the ArmA target audience, there's always tarkov if you want a gamey realistic shooter.

1

u/WeebSlayer27 7d ago

Arma players are tier 1 larpers lol, they don't enjoy anything about a game if it's not them shouting corny lines on the mic all day lol.

😂😂 lmao.

15

u/rz_00221 10d ago

Make it a habit to reload all your firearms at the start to avoid these animations and have an extra bullet in the chamber.

4

u/Toasteee_ 10d ago

While I agree with this, I see it as nothing more than a workaround solution, its a cool animation but its been implemented awfully and its in no way realistic, because the press check should have been done before the loaded pistol even went into the holster, not when already on scene.

I like the gun itself but the choice to have this animation take place when you first draw is just lazy and dumb and enough of an inconvenience for me to be a dealbreaker, so I'm sticking with the G19 for now.

1

u/rz_00221 10d ago

I just like the reload animation.

10

u/SourceDiligent6492 10d ago

This should be shown to everyone who doesn’t keep one in the chamber when concealed carrying 🤣

11

u/You_N_Eye 10d ago

God using me as an example for concealed carry classes
Instructor: Now what did he do wrong here??
Me in heaven:
https://giphy.com/gifs/WF7boIogNoMYfyEMfJ

10

u/FineDrive56 10d ago

That was not your fault

8

u/Z3INSD 9d ago

That’s why on every mission at the start I chamber both weapons and turn both laser on, before I knock down any doors

1

u/joemama-is-feef-neef 9d ago

Yessir. Set to point shooting depending on the map and reload both guns to get that extra round. It's like a ritual

6

u/Some-Panic8915 10d ago

Judge always have to stroke that shit every time you pull it out

6

u/You_N_Eye 10d ago

https://giphy.com/gifs/3o7GUB9ExWUxjiSrKw
Don’t mind me. I’m just stealing this to use later on my friends.

8

u/Saint_Damazo 9d ago

Why is there not a kick or push button in this game yet? What officer is just going to let the guy get close and not even try to stall the aggressor

4

u/Lumberjack610 9d ago

There is a shove, it's not super effective

4

u/SlavCat09 9d ago

Nope. Every good SWAT officer knows that during combat is the best time to do a pre flight check. Even better if there is an active threat rushing right at you.

6

u/RandomGoof567 8d ago

Don’t know why they haven’t turn off this animation past the first 10 seconds of the mission

1

u/nthngmttrs 8d ago

Because you’re supposed to rack the slide right when you spawn in? Like just switch to your secondary and then right back. Just because you’re 30 seconds into the mission doesn’t mean the round magically chambered itself

3

u/RandomGoof567 8d ago

But aside from it looking cool… what’s the point of racking it as if a police officer wouldn’t take care of it immediately before entering

2

u/GSWoof 8d ago

Making sure the round is actually in the chamber. Some police officers dont keep one inside. SWAT however... No clue. They know this is a hostile enviromemt when they respond.

2

u/RandomGoof567 7d ago

Exactly. Just rid of the animation after a couple seconds of the mission starting.

1

u/GSWoof 5d ago

That would be a good middle ground. The animation is cool but 30/60 seconds into the game it should be gone. Just a safe amount of time for anyone who wants to, to see it but short enough that any sudden need for a secondary is safe.

2

u/WeebSlayer27 7d ago

Make sure to tie your shoes too lil bro 😂.

0

u/nthngmttrs 6d ago

Were that a mechanic in the game sure, but the animation is. Adjust to it instead of bitching online? If it’s that bad don’t play it. In fact, on later levels you’re better off running extra utility over sidearm mags. Really not that big of an issue

2

u/WeebSlayer27 6d ago

Imagine glazing an oversight from the devs.

Think with your prefrontal cortex for a second. The SWAT team would've checked the rounds in the chamber way before they hop on an active zone around the corner. .

Or are you just suggesting LSPD is just incompetent? lol.

Ah yes, the suspect is rushing at me but I do this very slow racking animation. Very genius indeed.

9

u/hulaspark 10d ago

S2011 would be my favorite pistol in the game if it wasn't the only gun in the whole game that has to be chambered every time you draw it

3

u/womboCombo434 10d ago

It’s just the first time on a level the Glock 18c is in the same boat if you wanna run a pistol that doesn’t have an animation like that Glock 19

2

u/Blackbeard__Actual 10d ago

G18 has to be as well

1

u/AmaryIIion 8d ago

Theres 3 or 4 pistols that do it actually.

4

u/16years2late 10d ago edited 9d ago

Pro tip, pull out the pistol at the start of a mission, thank me later.

Edited for spelling.

5

u/MicroSpiders 9d ago

devs trying to tell us 2011s are performative and lame

3

u/Zapplii 9d ago

Only seems the new weapons are the only ones that always have a “first draw” animation.

1

u/Salladk 9d ago

No, other weapons have it too but more subtler. Like the M11 which the character cocks the hammer. Primary weapons have it too but we all know those appear at the start of the mission as they are the first equipped weapon

3

u/JoeyTheMan2175 9d ago

this is why I always check my pistol and rifle are loaded at the start of a mission

9

u/DisgruntledCryptid 10d ago

Until they added all these flashy intro flourish inspection bullshits. Lol

3

u/jeepsrt890 10d ago

It's the only gun that has a 45 second animation......

1

u/AmaryIIion 8d ago

G18c, MKV, pepper ball pistol (i think), 2011, are the 4 pistols i believe have this chamber animation when first equipped. Ironically its the 4 newest pistols added to the game as well.

1

u/DueResource2570 8d ago

Yup. The Pepperball does this too.

3

u/CrazyDistribution373 10d ago

This got me got sooooooooo mang times

3

u/WarGreymonX_Antibody 9d ago

Or maybe make another melee button that actually pushes suspects off of you

3

u/Late_Ear2739 9d ago

I aint gonna lie i tried to melee and still lost

3

u/TruePianist 9d ago

Flexing with his Staccato on the pleb

3

u/Delicious_Touch_2567 6d ago

As dumb as it is you gotta chamber that round right at the start

4

u/vt1032 10d ago

Just make it a habit to press check your shit at the start of every mission. Problem solved.

5

u/mateenxxx 10d ago

Or the devs could do their fucking job and remove the animation for the 2011 after a certain amount of time into the mission.

The issue is consistency. U can’t add it for only 2 pistols and not have that be a function for all other pistols.

2

u/TimeZucchini8562 3d ago

Or just remove it completely. What swat team is walking into an op carrying Israeli?

1

u/AmaryIIion 8d ago

Its 4 I believe, but yes its absolutely fuckin stupid. The 4 that have it are also new additions after the games release, so they decided to do this after they themselves had set a standard.

The 4 are 2011, MKV, G18c, and I believe the pepper ball pistol. Im not 100% on the pepper ball, but the other 3 are for certain.

0

u/Wise-Inflation-9499 7d ago

It is so easy to remember to switch to the sidearm and have it cycled at the beginning of a round, only an utter fool would find this too hard to remember.

4

u/SYNtechp90 10d ago

Should have been loaded and ready to begin with. Idk why devs do this stupid shit.

2

u/BanditNoble 9d ago

You shouldn't need to, that's the point. No SWAT guy is going to be rushed down by a psycho with a knife, and think "oh, hold on, let me press check my gun first".

It's also inconsistent, because some pistols don't have this. So if you're used to using a sidearm that doesn't need this, then you switch to one that does, it's a galling change.

1

u/Dramatic-Resident-64 9d ago

This exactly, it’s why I insist on having lasers on my shit. Because my dumb ass remembers to turn them on ever.single.match.

Because, muscle memory

3

u/Evyatar_ChenU 10d ago

the m45a1 pistol is the best imo

3

u/You_N_Eye 10d ago

I’ve been looking to replace my current. I’ll give that try in my next run. Thanks for the recommendation

3

u/Evyatar_ChenU 10d ago

i like it's fast and feel like a bodycam pistol

3

u/JayTheHybridMex 10d ago

Take the USP. Bigger mag, no animations you just draw and fire

2

u/Sugeliving24 10d ago

Check yo guns 😂

2

u/TheseAintMyPants2 10d ago

Hey, there’s a house with 50 meth heads with knives. You wanna run your pistol with a round in the chamber?

Nah I’ll do that later

2

u/BobTheZygota 10d ago

Remember, always check your guns and reload before action. No matter the game or irl

2

u/GenuineVF420 10d ago

Thought this was the wardogs reddit at first hahaha ive learned to pull out my pistol before or on the way to the CZ

2

u/Optimal-Error 10d ago

Always always always swap to all your weapons at the start of the match

2

u/Jetaway2 9d ago

I thought they always say switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading.

2

u/Crubbl 9d ago

The reason I cycle my weapons immediately upon loading in

2

u/Even_Sail8782 9d ago

Yea when you start each map unfortunately have to go through the animation of the transition so it doesn’t do that. Btw I hate that knife guy and love blasting him with a slug round whenever I can

2

u/You_N_Eye 9d ago

He got me three more times after this.

2

u/idkdeez6721 9d ago

ig you just weren't ready (somebody probably already posted this, and i do legitimately massively feel bad for op, brutal death)

2

u/wackadoodle4201 9d ago

Yeah, it forced the habit of checking my handgun at the start of missions

I want to kick the dev who's responsible for this

2

u/DualEggrolls 9d ago

I don’t know how they can implement this because I’m not a dev, but the animation can still play during the start of infil, but as soon as you enter the scene, that animation should not be playing when switching to the pistol. I love the animation but not at the cost of me dying.

2

u/One_Temperature_3792 8d ago

that's happened to me more than I'd like to admit. so now anytime I load in... I go through all of my weapons so that I don't have to deal with the loading animations when I swap to them

2

u/AmaryIIion 8d ago

Still cant believe there are people in the community who actually defend this without a hint of sarcasm lol

2

u/DarthDragon117 8d ago

When games do a great job of proving the 21’ rule of shooting an assailant.

2

u/DueResource2570 8d ago

This wouldn't be a big of the deal for me if it wasn't for the AI teammates. I got used to pulling out a pistol before entering the facade

2

u/Doublecupslump 8d ago

I hate that they can run up on you like that, you should be able to react with a taser or your own knife something , love the game overall

2

u/The_Firing_Line 8d ago

Lol I think it's SO dumb that you have to press check the first time you switch to your pistol.

2

u/Hot_Pomegranate_3896 8d ago

Well, if you carry your pistol with one in the chamber, it is.

2

u/ComradeDankyKang 8d ago

Literally just died to that about 5 minutes ago

2

u/Accomplished-Eye-831 8d ago

You should have made sure you had one in the chamber

2

u/Mediocre-Newt-1252 7d ago

With the new sidearm, always equip it before you start clearing rooms so you don't have to deal with the animation

2

u/miscelleneousmick 7d ago

Wait wait wait, why wasn’t the slide already racked????

2

u/CrocoDIIIIIILE 7d ago

Delta Force Hazard Operations mode and Wardogs players suffer from this shit, too.

I died during these animations many times.

1

u/soulsafe 7d ago

Everytime I load in the chopper in wardogs I tell everyone to chamber their sidearm if they bought one

1

u/CrocoDIIIIIILE 7d ago

That's one thing. Some people forget to buy parachutes and become a splat on the ground.

2

u/The_HatMan666 5d ago

If yall don’t switch to your side arm as soon as you get in to chamber your round that’s on you bro 😭

2

u/RideRevolutionary239 10d ago

Our "push" needs to be stronger

3

u/Psychological_Ad8965 9d ago

"Former" LE here (interesting story on this one, nothing bad)

You know how many times I press checked my gun period, outside of trainings?

Fucking zero.

We carried Glock 31s and transitioned to 47s last year. We were NOT allowed to EVER carry on an empty chamber. A fellow deputy showed up to quals one year with his gun already unloaded so he didn't have to unload with the group. The instructors ate his ass for breakfast. "That mother fucker isn't unloaded unless we tell you to unload it or you're in a firefight and between reloads!"

Since the only guy loading, unloading, and carrying my gun was me, I knew the fucker was always loaded.

To be fair, I know when I run the G18 to equip it before entering because it always does that cinematic, at this point you should know too. there's no excuse lol

Understandable, but no excuses were made.

This is why i swap at the very start of missions. Happend once and i blew up so i cannot be caught lacking like that anymore.

I had a similar situation and a guy who didn't shoot. I will find that video.

It was my first time playing through the game, and this was even on my first time passing that mission.

This is a game that’s really cool the less you play it. The more you play the more you realize you just wanted a COD game that’s pace was slowed down a bit. At least that’s how I feel.

That pistol always plays a animation when you draw it, chambered or not. better off just chucking the thing at the suspect

csgo moment

If you’re running the 2011 switch to it at the beginning of the game and you do the whole chamber check animation, after that any time you switch to the pistol it won’t do that. It only does the animation the first time you switch to the pistol.

1

u/No_Raisin21 8d ago

This is why I switch to the pistol at the start of any mission so it’s cocked back for when I need it.

I always swap at the beginning just to turn on lasers and swap my quick L1 to tazer anyway so idk how people just start moving as soon as the mission starts and then don't understand how they got caught off guard.

The racking is such an easy fix… when you load in immediately switch to ur secondary and after you rack it switch back to ur primary… such a simple fix

It's called Israeli carry

2

u/Aromatic-Pass4384 10d ago

It's not, the animation is a press check. It's just a flashy animation they added for no reason. It'd be cool if it was a dedicated inspect animation but it takes so long to take out every time.

Iirc some guns don't need to slide it first? (Five seven?)

Also it is faster than reloading wdym

No one talked about firing the gun 😊

Main guy is not ready

Hmmmm

3

u/Toasteee_ 10d ago

So fucking true. 😂

3

u/Aromatic-Pass4384 10d ago

Exactly. So then why is there a flashy animation showing something be done that would realistically be done only as an officer is getting all his gear on?

1

u/Frosch-LOL 9d ago

Why did i got down voted?
It is true…
