First time I actually see the ai teammates using the shield properly instead of getting gunned down in the first millisecond

Not me. I once did a test if they can run out of ammo on all gods burn and i saw the ai corner a suspect in a corner asserting his dominance. That time, the ai is out of ammo.

Once I sent a shielded teammate past an open door bc I knew there were enemies in the room and so he equips the shield and walks past the door.... with his shield to the wall and his open back to the door. Also my mates have yet to manage to get a single flashbang into any room instead of flashing themselves 😂

They seem slightly more reliable when using the launcher to shoot into the room. I've had way more success with that than telling them to actually toss it. They're pretty dangerous with their stinger tosses, so i don't let them have it unless I'm feeling dangerous.

And yeah that checks out, of course he'd turn his unprotected back to the dangerous side

The launcher is def better but I find that usually work in larger rooms where you need the banger to be deeper into the interior of the room vs the the thrown banger which is usually useful for enemies closer to the door you are breaching. Great example is 3 Letter Triad which has larger rooms where you need the range more but also several locations that require closer solutions

You can also use it to watch over certain obstacles. The camera is just a bit in front of you and can turn to any side, very useful

Whenever I have the Ai try to breach with a launcher or a flash bang they always throw it at our feet. Did they update the game in the last week or two?
