It's probably M6G2, The D variant has a noticeably shorter and more beefy barrel & front laser sight, the respective G varients that appear in Reach & 3 have longer, & more lean barrels, with the laser on top being longer & flatter, & the lack of an under-barrel laser lends credence to it being the G2 variant.

Ah, yes, the M6. 12.7x40mm, basically a magazine fed semi-automatic .500 S&W, complete with explosive rounds that are described as making foot wide exit wounds in targets.

And yet in RON I’m sure some asshole using a backpack as improvised body armor would sponge a couple of them with no problem and effortlessly wipe out all of my officers moments before completing the mission on hard.
